  • Got no plans for valentines day at all. Sent boyfriend a card and a CD but he's not very romantic and super stressed at the moment so I'm not expecting anything in return.

Good morning all and Happy Valentines Day to you all. I think the Mazuma cheque has finally cleared but I'm not too sure. A&L's systems were down last night so I don't know if the balance I have available is really available. Going to wait until tonight and have another look. Hopefully it'll all be resolved by then and I'll know where I am.

I had a bill from Studio cards last night for some things I ordered last month so I'm going to pay that off today as they have given me a massive credit limit and I don't want to feel tempted. Will tell them that I don't want anything else from them and to close the account. Have only ever ordered from them once and didn't find their service brilliant (which is a good job really, or I'd be buying lots of rubbish just because I can).

Hope you all have a lovely day and I'll catch up later.
  • Happy Valentines Day to you too GR big hugz.
Well done on your decision to close the account at Studio Cards. Like you say, you may end up ordering something that really if you saw it in the shops you might think twice before buying. So easy to be tempted so you're taking temptation away, that's great.
Have a lovely evening with your family, are you doing a special tea or anything? I don't usually but for some reason I want to tonight...? Nothing fancy and mse, shall have a think.
Hope your day was another mse one GR, ah I don't need to say that really,I know it will have been...you're doing just brilliantly.:D :T

Ooh remembered you've got your special day out tomorrow haven't you...just think you can have a lovely relaxing evening tonight and a great day out tomorrow. I know you decided not to buy a new dress but how about some accessories to go with one of the dresses you're going to wear? Luvz Dizzy x

Calm down racer its a shopping day with DD and my niece. I was going to buy a dress for an engagement party then decided that I had so many in my wardrobe that I was going to wear one of those.

Not had a special meal tonight, DS phoned me in work today to tell me his trainers were hanging off his feet, so tonight I went to JJB with DS to buy some new trainers.

Cheque from Mazuma has cleared so I've transferred it over to the ISA, also had envirophone cheque so thats ready to pay in tomorrow.
  • Hello GR...hope you had a good day.
There's always something our little darlings need isn't there.
How are you going to feel when you put those cheques in tomorrow :D
I'm going to have a browse round the forum then get back to the kitchen. Hopefully I'll have finished by tonight. Have a relaxing evening and hope you have a lovely day tomorrow. You deserve it hun.:D

Back from my shopping trip and the spends were better than I thought. DD spent her christmas money and DS just gave me a list of what to get.

Posted off my Envirophone cheque today and am going to contact Halifax later to find out how to go about adding my secured loan to the mortgage and hopefully save some more money!

Thanks Racer, Have had a lovely day, good company and lots of nice things for DD. Had lunch in Pizza Hut (all you can eat for £5) and was home by half 2. Spent some of my Boots points and treated myself to some anti-wrinkle cream and lip balm but apart from that there was nothing I fancied buying.

Am absolutely shattered now, had a hot bath and chilling out in front of TV.

Hope you have a good evening too x
  • Hi GR Glad your day went well. You had a good shop. Sometimes it's just nice to get out and about in good company :D
Loving your totals, they're getting higher very fast indeed. Well done :D
