Thanks Wendy, the day hasn't turned out to be to too bad after all.

I've got a shopping trip planned with my niece on the 15th July so I'm hoping that will cheer me up. Am going to have a really good scout around this weekend to see what delights I can find to e-bay. There must be some treasures here that can rake me in some more money. I'm also panicking because my car needs its MOT and service in August and I want to have enough money to pay for it. I've never had a car for longer than 3 years so don't know what it costs for an MOT. Luckily J is the manager of a service centre so hopefully I can get some discount there :)

I don't know what's the matter with me, I think it's the thought of the weekend that has put a damper on my mood. The thought of some other woman playing mother to my children. Even though we've been separated for 6 yrs that bit really gets me. I can cope with the kids going with their Dad and I've got no feelings for him whatsoever, it's knowing that the kids are upset by this woman being there with them. Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it, even though I know I'm going to have a hard time off ex when he brings the kids back because they just don't bother with her at all.

Going to catch up on everyones threads now. Catch you later.

Have had a busy morning. J came up last night and stayed until very late. We were both on a downer, me particularly so he asked me if I'd like to go down his mums with him tomorrow for lunch, as the kids are supposed to be with their father I've accepted. Saying that ex was supposed to be here this morning for the kids and they are still stitting here in their best outfits waiting for him. I'm so angry with him....

Have been to Asdas this morning and sone some shopping, spent £70 which is more than I intended but there was a birthday present in that so I can't grumble. Have got so much to do this afternoon but I just can't be bothered. I'm going to be out for the majority of the day tomorrow so should be getting lots of housework done instead of typing on here!!!!!

Once the kids go, I'm going to pop my mum up to the supermarket and then plod on with the mountain of ironing that I've got.

Aw GR hugs to you hun...sounds like you need plenty of TLC from J. I think you're right and that the children going with the ex and his partner aren't helping your mood. Like Wendy said you need to fit some 'me' time into your schedule so good to see you've got a nice day planned with your niece.
Hope the day gets better for you hun and you have a relaxing evening.

Thanks Diz, Ex finally turned up at 7.10. Kids not amused as he was planning to take them to the pictures and out for food (pictures a good 30 minutes away!!!). ANyway they've gone and I'm sat here all on my own. Have cleared loads of ironing and had a nice bath and now don't know what to do with the peace and quiet LOL.

Am just going to make myself a snack and maybe have a glass of wine. AM really looking forward to tomorrow, his mothers a really lovely person and I can't wait to meet up with her again. Of course, the fact that he's coming with me is a bonus :)

Blimey GR...things certainly look like they're hotting up :D
I think you'll have a lovely day tomorrow. Now just don't have too much wine, you don't want to be going with a hangover!
Hope the children still enjoyed themselves and he makes it up to them for being late.

Thanks Wendy, I'm hoping the MOT and servicewon't be a problem, last years service cost me over £200 as I took it to a dealer. Ridiculous really as ex hubby is a mechanic but I needed to have my service history book stamped. It doesn't help because the car is a 4x4 and they always cost more.

I am sooooo excited about today. :j Am going to drive to J's house this morning by 10.30 and wrap his mothers birthday present for her (cos men can't do that sort of thing, Oh yes and can I bring him some sticking tape  !!!!) Then he's going to drive down in his car. I am slightly nervous but I'm sure I'll be OK. I just hope the ex will be here on time. He's picking the kids up at 10 and I'll be leaving straight away after that. I didn't sleep too well I'm excited and nervous all rolled into one.

Got a few small items ending on e-bay today but don't think any of them ae going to sell. I'll keep my fingers crossed though and hopefully when I log on tonight I'd have made a fortune. I've been teaching J all about Quidco and Pigsback and also sent for a nectar card for him as his phone is with talk talk. I don't think he can quite believe how much extra money can be made every month. Have I converted another member of the public to a MSE?????
