Your right there. I haven't been able to sleep at all well over the last few nights, don't know what's the matter with me. Hopefully when I do get to bed tonight I'll sleep right through to the alarm tomorrow morning.

OMG what possesses me to stay up late on a school night. Got to bed at half 2 and up at 7 am.

Morning all, Went to bed at 10.00 last night and even though I slept well I'm still very tired. If I can get another early night tonight I think I'll feel a lot better.

Work is really boring at the moment and I don't feel satisfied there, I keep looking for a new job but nothing comes up. Would like to stay in the NHS but don't know which direction to take. Also as I don't start work until 10.00 I want another job that will give me the same hours, something that is impossible to find at the moment.

Nothing much happening on the money front, I seem to be floating along nicely, had a sale on e-bay last night but it was only for a small amount. As the kids are off with their father on Saturday I may use the time to have a good look around the house and list another pile of stuff. There's bound to be lots here. I'm not looking forward to the weekend at all. The ex hubby is visiting for the weekend with his partner and the children absolutely hate her. They are staying in a local hotel and taking the kids out on Saturday and Sunday but bringing then home to sleep on Saturday night. DD is adamant that she doesn't want to go as she hates the new partner and DS says he's not going if he's got to go on his own. Ex is screaming at me because it's obviously down to me that they don't want to go! Can't wait until Sunday night when it'll all be over.....

Hi GR...sorry things are a bit up in the air for you. Poor things, if they don't like her couldn't OH see them on his own, is she that bad?
Don't wish your weekend away GR, it might not be as bad as that.
Hope you get another early night. I was in bed at 9.30pm Didn't even watch BB!! Felt a bit better for it though.
If it wasn't for the 'you know who' at work would you stay there?

Hi Diz,

OH hasn't been well lately and hasn't seen the children since May, he's therefore decided to spend the weekend with them and she doesn't trust him enough to be down in Wales for a whole weekend without her. Not that she's got any worried there. I think the reason the kids don'tlike her is that she doesn't join in, if they go bowling she won't bowl in case she breaks her nails, if they go to the pictures she must choose the film, if they go to the fair she sits on a bench reading a magazine so ex is trying to keep her and the kids happy....

If 'you know who' wasn't at work, the chances are I'd stay, yes. There's been a few sarcastic comments again this week and I seem to be quite sensitive at the moment and reading into what people say too much.

She's off tomorrow and Monday so I'll probably like my job until Tuesday!

I'm hoping for another early night tonight, don't know whether I'll get it though. It would have been J'd 3rd wedding anniversary tomorrow and I know he's going to be down in the dumps so I really should get an early night tonight as the chances on an early night tomorrow are likely to be slim.

On a brighter not, I sold a jacket on e-bay today making a profit of £18 so that's made me smile, also got lots of items ending tonight. Got no watchers though so I'm hoping on a last minute rush I notice you've made a good start to the month with £18 profil already, well done you!

Sorry to hear your stuck in the middle. Not much you can do except try to ignore him your kids are old enough to make there own decisions now.

Hi GR...hope everything goes ok at the weekend for the kids. They may feel better about her if she did join in then, can't be much fun for them.
Now GR what would you say to someone who was thinking of leaving their job because of one person...you know the answer to that Has she been there very long, hopefully she may move on before you decide to.
I'm quite happy with my July challenge up to now. One payment was an item bought a few days ago but they paid tonight. Also have an e-cheque pending and Greasypalm to go in. So if I make nothing else it'll go up in a weekish anyway.

Thanks both. If I can just grin and bear the weekend it'll be over for another month. I can't say too much as she doesn't visit very often so I try and persuade the kids to go.

Have decided to pamper myself tonight. Am sitting here with a conditioning treatment on my hair and some moisturising socks on my feet. I look a real glamour puss. I just pray nobody knocks the door!!!!!

Morning all. Not feeling particularly good today. Nothing happening on the money front for me, everything seems to have slowed down and it's making me feel down and when I feel down I want to spend so I feel as if Im in a viscious circle.

Have got a busy few weeks ahead of me so need to try and keep some money for it. Got a shopping trip to Cardiff and a day off to spend with J's mum. Now my debts are paid off I'm scared to spend money because I don't want to find myself owing lots of money again. I've cut up all the cards and closed the accounts so theres no temptation there but every now and again I feel as if I need a real blow out.

Not got anything planned for the weekend other than Ex having the kids so will probably spend the majority of the time e-baying and cleaning!!!

Why not plan a big shopping day every few months or so. Say at the start of the season to get any new clothes you and the kids need. If you build it into the budget then youll be fine money wise with the great feeling of a spending spree. Also no guilt either!

Even if you do go mad on an unplanned shopping trip I think you are well into being a MSE to be able to recover quickly enough.
