Sounds like you have weighed up all your options and are being real and sensible about things.

    Good luck with everything

    Thanks KM:D

In the past we were dead against renting as we saw it as a waste of money that could be going towards buying a house. But now we see it as a step forward. We need to fly the nest and get out of our parents hair! (although they dont have much left with me still living at home and what is left has gone grey!:rotfl: )

    Hi,

Well the extra money i have been making to get the CC paid off is now going onto my car, as need the Cambelt changing ASAP. I was going to put it off until paid off the CC. But i think thats a bad idea as its now 8 years old with 61,000 on the clock and handbook says 5 years old or 70,000 on clock which ever comes first. So my car has made it 3 years over what it should be.If it snaps it will cost me a whole new engine, so extra money is for buying a new cambelt now.Which is £53 on ebay.I already brought the water pump ...which needs to be changed when replacing cambelt. Now all i need to find out is the price of labour. I am NOT taking it to peugeot to be ripped off, i will take it to local garage.I will call them as soon as the cambelt comes, im just waiting for ebay seller to confirm they have the belt i need before i can buy it.

    So money car needs

Car tax £101 - needs to be paid end of this month
MOT £45 - needs to be done start of April
Service parts £25 - needs to be done end of April but can wait until may.
Cambelt & labour £200 my guess

    Total £371:confused:
Lets just hope my MOT will pass:confused:

So i better go and start doing a bit more slicethepie to get some more cash in my paypal. And think of some more things to put on ebay.:o

    Hi,

Hope you've all had a Happy Easter! Work tomorrow!

OH and i went into town today to take back a jumper i brought last week from Jane Norman...which is in debenhams where i live. It cost £30 but i used £5 off on a £25 spend voucher that nectar sent me. So it only cost £25. I thought she would just give me the £25 back, but she gave me £5 on a gift card aswell!!! So im £5 up which i can spend on anything no min spend! :D

Thats the only MSE thing i have done this Easter weekend apart from the double pay on Friday.

    Evening all,

Just had a look in ebay and my 2 items have both sold for total of £24.52:D
So thats a little more extra money to add.

Toluna have added my points on so i just ordered a £12 Halfords voucher. Just will do nicely for my spark plugs i need for my service.;)
Im still waiting for my pending valued opinions points to be added, i did have x4 £1 pending. Now theres only x2 £1 pending and the missing £1 hasnt been added to my balance so dont know where thats gone!

I went to post office and paid the 6 months tax:confused: So £101.75 down

    Hi,

Well pay day today! And got an extra £17 after tax for bank holiday friday. But every extra helps! Got 35p in tips!:rotfl: And £3.82 from quidco has just gone into bank.

    So an extra £21.27 today!:D ;)

Had a spend of £2.40 today. £2 for a collection at work for a memeber of staff who sadly died last weekend and 20p x2 for the sun paper as it has free 30 multi-vitamins form boots. I need the vitamins badly so 20p for 30 aint bad at all, so brought 2 for 60 tablets!;)
