old school pay as you go. does it still exist?

Hi there. Is there such thing as a pay as you go sim which works like they did in the good old days where you would buy credit and it would last as long as you wanted? i bought a pay as you go sim and found out to my annoyance that it was not pay as you go as i remeber it because my minutes and texts were wiped after a month. so basically a rebranded contract...

You need to ask specifically for PAYG sim. I have one and it's exactly as you asked in post 1.
Nothing is ever wiped except the double credits and the like. The credit I put on stays indefinitely.

It was definitely a PAYG sim as thats what i wanted. i just though perhaps the terminology now referenced something different to what i remember. thanks for they replys, i'll give tesco a ring now i know they still exist.

well it appears i have found the chirpy one in the forum! - if trying to make people feel foolish with your replys is how you get your kicks then so be it. who am i to judge.
