Free trip to Paris (Almost)

I received 2 confirmation emails after I booked ( within 10 mins of booking). I email had a username and password which I can use to check my booking details. The other email was a more general confirmation email. Didn't get no phone numbers in my email0

I have also done it after reading through the terms and conditions, I got a bit worried. They have absolved themselves from any responsibility in case of any mishaps or accidents while we are on the train and it has been repeated 2 or 3 times.
Is there a more than average possibility of an accident for this trip? Are they treating us as Guinea Pigs?
May be I am paranoid!!I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T0 -
The website said I had booked but I have not got any emails from them, bit gutted as I would love to do this!0

Read my previous post #20 and quit being so paranoid!
Might set the cat amongst the pigeons here but nobody has to apply for this, you're not being forced into it. It's a free country and you make your choice.
If there is something about this offer that you don't like then why are you (not just you macgyver, I'm referring to the mass of people who are questioning this offer) even considering applying?
It's something for nothing, apart from a few hours of your time, isn't that what you read the freebies/grabbit boards for?
I apologise in advance to anybody who is offended by my post as I realise that there are lots of people out there who are very wary of offers if they have been scammed in the past, but once bitten twice shy, if you don't like the sound of it don't do it!0 -
I am quite happy to give it a go. Still no email so maybe I slipped through the system with the rush - I will keep my fingers crossed.SallyD0

Yeah same for me, said thank you for registering.....etc etc.
like sallyD said maybe we slipped thorugh the net, typical as i was going to book a trip to paris anyway , so free ticket would have been a nice saving.
From the sounds of it , their booked system is messed up0 -
If I put anyone off this offer, then I apologise.
However, without going into a debate over it, I'd do the same again - about 'raising an issue' over giving someone - unknown (I don't care if it is Eurostar - do you really know them?) - your bank account details for a freebie.
It's not 'scaremongering', it's raising an issue. If I'm wrong then the worst I've done is miss a freebie. If you know otherwise - about the offer - then I'm happy to stand corrected. The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0 -

With the bank details you give you can only pay money in. Think of it another way, when you hand over a cheque to a complete stranger you are giving them your name, your bank account number, your sort code and your bank address and they may even write your guarantee number on the back of the cheque.
That is far more than eurostar want.0 -
Booked up for me and my 3 year old...she'll love the trains/London and looking forward to it myself too......The free Paris journey for a later date is a great bonus...Thanks OP

Yet, golden opportunities are all around you0 -
It's on the eurostar homepage, under "highlights".
Don't want anyone to miss out because of your scaremongering
Scare mongering or not, it's always wise to remind people how easy it is to get sucked in and to do a little research before giving personal or financial details,,,April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200
