Gintot I've been to Cribbs Causeway. It's about 30 miles away from me .

Love Cribbs Causeway. We usually stop off there on our way down to the caravan. It breaks the journey up.

Hi chums and happy Birthday to HH hope you had a smashing lunch and a good book and cake sounds brilliant to me :)

Its been a busy day today as I first had to run DD to work this morning at 08.15. and make sure she was in OK on her crutches.

She was still the first one in the office this morning and the sales chap who is young, free and single and extremely able bodied came in and said 'stick the kettle on Tess' (my DD is actually his boss :) ) her reply would have made a sailor blush :),needless to say he slunk off with his tail between his legs and sheepishly said 'sorry Tess forgot your not very mobile .Mobile or not she is not his tea maker Grrr.

Leaving her to sort all the admin thats accumulated on her desk in the past 2 weeks I have a feeling he will feel the sharp edge of her toungue again before the day is over .Her OH is picking her up tonight when she finishes at 6.30.

I nipped home and hung out the washing I had put on at 7 this morning, then I went off to book club and spend a nice morning with my booky friends discussing books and what we would like on the list for next year

We have decided instead of having a Christmas flavoured coffee 'do' at the December meeting we would have a savoury cheese based one

Normally we do mince pies and all the trimmings but this year for a change it will be different sorts of cheeses ,grapes assorted crackers some fruit cake and possibly some non-alchoholic vino (as some of us are driving ) :)

After that I zoomed down to Gillingham as I had to drop some forms off at the building society for my eldest DD (not my favourite place) then home for a very quick cuppa before going to yougest DDs Tess's and sorting out the dogs and the kitchen breakfast bits just as DGS Henry arrived back from school. he is a good lad, and pulled all the rubbish bins across to where the men collect them in the morning Just got everything staight and then the other two came in wanting feeding with a snack as they were 'reallly starving Nanny' They could eat their way through any amount of stuff after school and they all are like rakes ,just so unfair :)

Managed to nip into Aldis before I came home though and got a few bits I needed ,then as it was next door to Mr T's I stuck my head in the door there and snaffled a reduced Itanian range spag bol to go in the freezer for 62p and a large fish pie that was portioned into two for 88p so together it came to £1.50 for the basis for three meals for me 50p plus veg makes it a bargain I think :):):)

Doing quite well this month, almost half way through and only spent around £25 odd and nothing more to get for at least another 7-10 days :):):)

Aldis had some nice brussels which I think will go very well as my extra green veg.I know a lot of folk don't like them but I love them with some crispy bacon bits.

Right sorted out all the shopping and even got it put away, I am going to put my feet up tonight and do absolutely nothing for a change.

I dug out a unidentified package from the freezer for dinner tonight which turned out to be a couple of chiken thighs, which I chucked in the remoska and had with some salad.
I just don't know where today has gone to I feel like I am a hampster on a wheel at times :):):) Hope everyone has a good evening, rather nippy here in north Kent so my heating is on to warm the place up a bit

    Take care chums

    JackieO xx

P.S. cranky I know how you feel pressure bandages are rotten thing.s I have lymphodema in my right arm and had a long hot summer with those things on and to be honest they did very little good for me so I now have one arm twice the size of the other one, when it gets really cold I can at least use my sleeve on that arm but it will never be the same again, but hey ho I can live with a fat arm :) just a nuisance trying to find clothes as I have to buy them a size ot two bigger to accommodate my wonky arm :):) Onwards and upwards chums
