DUTR, I have more time for the OP than I do for the private parking industry. She may be silly and selfish, but PPCs are evil, I wonder how many people have killed themselves because of their actions.
Often, before I got a BB, I struggled to find a parking space in Reading while there were dozens, yes dozens, of empty BB spaces.
I'm sure we all do, it would be hard to dispute that their impact doesn't have positive and negative consequences.
I notice a supermarket doesn't have the closest spaces allocated just for BB and P&C, they don't appear to have an issue with misuse of the BB spaces (every shoppers £ is worth the same) .
In the case of this thread, the OP could say they were poorly that's why they parked where they did, and felt better after the movie.
(I'm being cynical there) .0 -

This thread, like others of late has now been ruined
for the OP.
There is no point in this banter, it is going nowhere
You have 11,00 posts to your name so you should
know better
I would suggest the OP starts a new thread and let
this one vanish into the bowels of MSE0 -

The thread hasn't been ruined, or if it has it's only by self appointed forum police dictating who can and cannot post on a thread, if you have read the the thread then you can see my 1st reply, there is nothing wrong with that and the content and proposal is little different to what others have later posted,if downhill that's with the glory hunters, with 6300 posts you too should know better!0 -

Please tell us which parking firm? If BPA member, come back at POPLA stage.
I don't judge anyone on this board, unless they deliberately parked in a clearly-marked disabled bay (which we don't know for sure). I'm not happy if a person does that. But it's rarely seen on here.
Maybe it was badly marked; we've seen some shocking ones, won at POPLA on that basis.
Or maybe the person meets the definition of disability and had genuine need for the bay, regardless of Blue Badge (i.e. someone with a long-term medical condition affecting their daily living, such as a person newly diagnosed with cancer who may well be struggling with shopping and going out but cannot yet get a BB).
Bottom line - appeal. We hate the parking scammer firms more.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thankfully, others still offering good contribution to the OP's quiry since your post ta ta.
PS in fact looking through the thread you have not yet once responded to the OP's original quiry, let other future readers make of that what they will.0 -
