There was advice there, the advice is to read the newbies sticky and appeal if you feel you have good reason to, it seems some appeals are sucessful some are not.0 -
Were you displaying your blue badge correctly?0

I am not a blue badge holder0

I see. That begs the obvious question....no, I'm not going to bother to ask. No sympathy here.Alison.corley wrote: »I am not a blue badge holder0 -

The Newbies faq thread explains that appeals to IPC companies are destined to be rejected. But that doesn't mean their tickets are "enforceable".
Similarly appeals to BPA members may be rejected however there then is popla to appeal to.
Ultimately the only way the charge can be enforced is by you losing in a court hearing.
Unlikely if you stick to the advice here!0 -

Indeed, but I suspect most people advise and help in situations where they sympathise, empathise or just want to help spontaneously for some other reason. If the OP's situation is as it seems (and I admit that from the tiny snippet of information we have, it might not be), then she is clearly capable of looking after number one. I've done enough trawling of car parks looking for an accessible space, only to find the designated spaces are taken by non blue badge holders. Consequently, I don't have any sympathy, even if the parking company are opportunist crooks.Op came for help, not your sympathy!0
