I spent £80 yesterday, but this was on heavily reduced items for Christmas gifts for DS (tesco direct sale
); a new baby gift and another Christmas gift which I can tick off the list so I am pleased to have got some bargains. I will adjust the payment to the gift accounts when the child benefit gets paid next week.

I got rid of a few items which had been cluttering up my spare room via freecycle yesterday. Glad to get that little bit of space back but still shocks me how rude, abrupt and demanding some people can be when you're offering something for free...Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

That is a good idea, getting Christmas presents from now on. Your list of ops to the mortgage in your signature look very impressive, well done!paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Well, we went camping for the weekend, though only lasted one night because of the rain. :(No refund for the 2nd night so it turned out to be an expensive night away and a LOT of effort, but coming home was a better option than sitting it out in the rain and wind. Hopefully the next trip will be more successful!
Today’s been quite a nice day. I had a lovely morning with DS before his Dad came to pick him up. OH helped sort some boxes and rubbish out of the big outbuilding in the garden (that needs knocking down). There’s loads of cardboard to put out for recycling next week now.
I’ve done two loads of washing and some ironing. Had to use the tumble dryer thanks to the pouring rain, but the last few bits are on the airer to dry. All the washing has been put away too and I tidied my room a little whilst I was sorting things out. I last sorted through the charity shop and eBay pile. One load is now bagged and ready to drop off at the CS, the eBay stuff is a bit tidier, couldn’t bring ,ys elf to list it today, not THAT enthusiastic!
I took some of the clothes i’d ordered back to Tesco today as they either didn’t fit or looked awful. There will be a £44 refund showing up for those soon which I will hopefully be able to transfer back to the gifts or holiday fund.
Yesterday I managed to get a great haul of YS fruit, veg and other groceries for just over £7 which would have cost around £40 at full price. :T Most of the veg was 10p-30p so I bought what I needed and some more bits to freeze. Really chuffed with those bargains.
Just off to hoover through the house and that will be my work done for the day.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

The house was hoovered through last night and I made my breakfast and lunch for today with some of the YS foods. I was going to cook OH and I some dinner but neither of us were that hungry after a big Father's Day brunch I cooked for him yesterday, so we will have the chicken and veg I had earmarked for last night, tonight, instead.
Child benefit has been paid today and £50 of it has been transferred back to the car maintenance account. Just waiting for the tesco refund to show in the bank account and then I will transfer some more money to the savings accounts I 'borrowed' from this month. A larger chunk will be heading to the same accounts on Wednesday when the tax credits are paid. I'll be happy to see those balances topped back up again.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

Well, emotionally I was doing ok these past few days until I was notified by the ex of an 'outlaw' family gathering this morning that I have been excluded from. It hurts rather a lot as I am on very good terms with the outlaws involved and am closer to them than many of my own family. I guess I have been shunted out of the last remaining bit of 'family' I had on that side now that the ex, his gf and her kids come as a family unit, which is equally sad as I really like the ex's gf and we get on great.
Am at work, but just had to take myself off to the toilet and have a cry for a little while, couldn't hold the tears back at my desk and I think colleagues were noticing.
Anyway, other things, I see that my parents have put £200 into my account this morning, which brings equal feelings of joy and guilt.
They are so lovely to me and I know they just want to help. They have no idea how much they help me, without them I don't know how I'd manage sometimes. The money will be pushed into the savings for various future expenses - the car pot and Christmas fund and maybe a little bit towards taking DS camping again.
Off to have my YS lunch now. Can't wait to get home and out of the office today.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

Cheered myself up with another OP of £42 to the mortgage (think I need to get a life!). This takes this month’s op’s up to £387.95.

My wonderful parents are insisting that I don!!!8217;t pay them the £200 I normally put into their account, next month. I feel bad (even though I know they don!!!8217;t need the money), but they said they will only transfer the cash back into my account otherwise. It will be such a big help in either building the savings up or paying another chunk off the mortgage. I will decide what to do with it when I get paid next week.
I!!!8217;ve completed a couple more surveys today so the points will slowly be built up again.
DS has been fed and we!!!8217;re snuggled up on the sofa. OH will be coming over later for some tea, then I think an early night is planned for me as i!!!8217;m so tired today.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

To keep the motivation up i’ve Just been playing with the overpayment calculator. If I can keep these op’s to the same level, I will be mortgage free in 12 years, knocking 11 years off my mortgage. I’ll aim for it to be paid off by the time i’m 50... 10 years and 9 month’s away.

OH has just transferred £80 he owed me, so i!!!8217;ve transferred £40 into the car account and sent another £40 to the mortgage to round it down.
