    Good morning all...

We have beef for christmas Lunch...so yes it comes with yorkshires.
Cannot remember the last time we had turkey...although this will be only the 2nd year we have ever had a christmas lunch at home on the 25th...for many years we went abroad.

    I've never actually cooked one!

The company that OH works for have decided this year that there will be no staff party, but they have offered a set amount to each department to go towards a meal to be taken at any point in the coming year....all in the name of diversity I think but actually it means that they can go somewhere nice, when its not overpriced and enjoy some decent good cooked food.
I was rather impressed by the suggestion.....
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

Blimey, that was a big catch up.
Can I be added to the list of people who cant be harrised with xmas please?
If I didnt have Rebecca to care for, I would go on holiday away from it all.

Great one more to the list, the world is coming round to my way of thinking :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I thought the little 20cl bottles look nice but are £3.
    Portion control.......

    Morning peeps.

I think there is a bigger bottle. Ie a half bottle that looks good it was about £5.5 so just under £3 in the double up My idea of a nice pressie to add to the few mini hampers I give . Only 4 friends :( but they are true friends.

Just about to hit some new shops.

The tv is one and it a episode of The Saint. :rotfl: to the fighting and the glamour of smoking

    Morning all

Waiting for the oxygen nurse to come round to assess OH. He is going to ask if he can loan a portable concetrator as its too much having to lug round the small canisters each time he wants to go out, which is rarely (mainly hospital appointments). Its too much for me having to lug the wheelchair out the car, lug the extra cannisters he wants to take as he gets very anxious about running out of oxygen. I have mild scolosis of the lower spine and get some pain there if I overdo it. Also had hip replacement 11 years ago so shouldnt be lifting heavy things. And just remembered I had breast cancer 7 years ago so Im sure I shouldnt be lifting with the left arm anyhow. So fingers crossed they loan him one or else he is looking to buy one for about £2000 - £3000.:eek::eek:
He says he will go out more if he had a portable concetrator. Hope he dont mean accompany me to the shops. He wont keep his mouth shut if Im trying to do a glitch :rotfl:
Dam they cancelled due to sickness. No appt till 4/12. So off to A's go I. :D
