Jus Rol Frozen Shortcrust Pastry 2 Blocks 1kg

    Price £2.50

These regularly turn up in Heron foods frozen and fresh. The fresh were 2 or 3 for £1. Worth a look.

    Afternoon peeps.
At least it's stopped snowing, here anyway.

Afternoon all! Hope you're all keeping safe and warm.

My first working from home day today! :j

I have a present challenge, should you choose to accept it...

My mum has asked for an address book that's small enough to easily fit into her handbag. Im having unexpected difficult with it, I can only find large ones, spiral bound ones or boring black leather ones. Are there are any which are around A6 size with no spiral and a nice pattern, for a reasonable price?

Does your mum have neat and tidy handbags - not toffee or dog treats stuck to everything :) Does she like good quality brands?
If so have a look at moleskin - try Amazon - plenty of sizes and choice but more pricey but very tough and hardwearing and good quality.
Otherwise have a look at Sainsbobs - their stationary sections is very good, wish I'd know, just come back from there snd I could have had a looksee for you ...
I like doing research for other peoples presents - its my own list that I have issues with :)

  • Good afternoon lovely peoples

Glad to read that peeps and peepettes are being sensible about travelling in these severe conditions that face many :A

    My cake is baked!

My Christmas Cake, oh what a beauty,
Moist and sweet and very fruity.
    A centrepiece for celebrations,
    When finished off with decorations.

Soaked the fruit for over a week,
In half a bottle of my Knob Creek,
Mixed with love and a wooden spoon,
Baked in the oven all afternoon.

Prepare for Christmas as if it’s your last,
    Remember all the Christmases past,
Memories of the years roll by,
My! how quickly time does fly.

Thank you my friends of the Elite,
The nicest people one could meet,
    Supportive, warm and very funny,
Not only that - they save you money!

Good afternoon Elite  The snow that we had at home when I got back yesterday seems to have gone, well as far as I can see from the window. I haven't ventured outside today, staying in house keeping warm in pjs and dressing gown
