Can anyone let me know how to make a FOOLPROOF crumbly shortcrust pastry for sausage rolls and mince pies...I am useless at this and know there must be a trick somewhere that the Elite use ? !! xxx

It is not so much the ingredients as avoiding handling it as much as possible, I actually use a food processor for this pastry to bind it quicker, and I always chill before rolling out.

I use 375g plain flour
260g butter
175g caster sugar
1 large egg

Even then I get mixed results, sometimes if can be melt in the mouth, sometimes it can seem a bit solid.

I limit it to three re-rollings too.

I am not sure what triggered the Droid game to appear on the second account - has anyone worked it out? I am loathe to delete the app and re-install in case the prizes disappear, though I assume these are saved in the Droid Pay cloud?
