OH & I spent the morning yesterday removing the gas fire and fitting a temporary Electric one ( till we decide about a new fireplace ) and when he was hoovering it out he found my original engagement ring that has been missing for over 25 years. He nearly hoovered it up. Think it may be a sign we have done the right thing moving back in together.

100gs SR flour
50gs veg suet
50gs sugar
100gs sultanas
1 egg
4 tablespoons milk


beat egg into milk.
mix all dry stuff together in a lidded dish - then bind in the egg & milk mix.
Lid on & into microwave for 4½ minutes (800w)

drizzle with golden syrup if desired
