I hope she isnt driving, it looks treacherous. According to BBC weather the Midlands are getting it tomorrow, my son is travelling from Derby to London, we reckon once he clears Bubbsland it will just be rain.
    Getting home might be "interesting".
Yes she is driving I'm afraid, M54, M6, M1, M25 & A12. We will see what tomorrow brings

Hey ho, gifts worked as planned but sweets and beans didn't:

13 items (7 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda Tesco
    1x Oxo Beef Stock Cubes (12x6g) £1.00 £0.75
1x Dove Men+Care Ultimate Care Gift Set with Shower Tool (each) £8.00 £3.25
    1x Heinz Beanz in Tomato Sauce (415g) £0.75 £0.75
    1x ASDA Extra Special Dão (75cl) £5.50 N/A
    4x Cadbury Curly Wurly Bar (26g) £1.40 £1.20
    1x ASDA Vinegar (568ml) £0.24 N/A
1x ASDA Smart Price Longlife Skimmed Milk (1l) £0.57 £0.49
3x Heinz Beanz with Pork Sausages in a Tomato Sauce (415g) £3.21 £3.15
2x Dove Beauty Collection Washbag Body Gift Set (each) £16.00 £9.00

used soup as trigger and 30p flashed choc bar

I think the sweets have worked but the best return for them is v S
The beans haven't worked because the normal tin of Heinz beans is not in the 4 for £3.00 at T's. You need to buy 4 from the following
    Heinz beans & sausages
    Heinz spaghetti & sausagess
    Heinz Raviolli
    Heinz Macaroni Cheese
    Heinz spaghetti Bolognese
plus the Heinz Lentil & Bacon soup as the trigger of course

Yes, That might be what they are 'supposed' to do.....but the reality is, they do not follow this, despite it being written clearly on the apg. Each store, each member of staff does their own thing....well in my stores anyway.

True, some make it up as they go along. I am just happy if they process it without any questions :D.

Mine earlier was a £20+ which generated some interest, but the supervisor still processed without issue (phew!).

Went to a different A recently and put my own APG through the SS for the first time. All worked fine - thanks for the info on how to do this. It didn't ask me to put the APG voucher in the slot but I did anyway.

On another transaction in the same store a SS supervisor come & put the APG through....although they entered staff mode and whizzed through extra logins & auth codes and put my APG through as a manufacturers coupon (just like an NCG coupon that is rejected). Afterwards they took the APG voucher and put it in what seemed to be a bin under the checkout. They didn't even write APG on the receipt. Did they do this wrong?
yes they done it wrong, as it went through as a manufacturers coupon, it could be printed again and put through as an apg as normal. not suggesting you do, but you could

Sorry about that folks - SP Vinegar wasn't even on my list at all:o(:rotfl:). That's happened because it is being described as "ASDA Vinegar" on msm, following a.com, and therefore wasn't retrieved when I did a search for SP items that then became part of the M list (insofar as they were best, or equal best to somewhere else, against M). Excuses, excuses...! It should still carry the SP legacy behind it though, despite the change in description on a.com - and therefore, like the gravy, it should be picking up M.

See, I'm fully aware of stuff even though it isn't on the list:rotfl::o:doh:.

  • [By the way, I would have lots of blackets in the car if I travelled, from Tiptree onwards anyway :rotfl: but I only have shoes with me, no boots, and no coat, only a cardigan and scarves[/QUOTE]

Oooh, I hope you've got your vest and pants as well, could get a bit nippy:rotfl:

Hope you decided not to travel, very risky.

Keep meaning to mention, the Head & Shoulders have not been in the 342 in any of the 4 Stores I have visited over the last 3 weeks or so.

That's the way it goes sometimes, WH played well and Chelsea never really looked like scoring.

Very frustrating but that's football for you.

Well what a lovely day I have had today. I was allowed a lie in from Rebecca, have spent time with my animals, wrapped all my presents whilst watching my guilty pleasure film, did a little (muggle) shop, saved a few pennys with an order on Amazon I should have done last week, but never mind, had takeaway, and been to the pub, and to top it off, a lift home from the bar maid so saved my taxi fare. Nice day all round :)
