Thanks for all the replies re gifting Droid DO. Question tho, how do you screenshot on a Samsung Galaxy Ace please??0
-
I am supposed to be driving to London tomorrow  – it will be interesting to see if the weather is actually as bad as they say it will be. Round here it hasn't been bad at all and all the roads, bar the very minor ones, have been clear and well gritted.

Hi. Thanks. What was weird was them putting it through a manufacturer coupon. It shows as such on my receipt. Pretty sure they never entered any numbers from the APG or receipt - just looked at the value and put it through for that amount.I think the staff in A have all received different training :rotfl: some even forget any training they have received and now make the rules up as they go along :rotfl:
On SS yesterday, a member of staff said to me that she couldnt be bothered to type in all the numbers from the apg, she just puts all apg's through as coupon :rotfl:
Some still insist on writing on the receipt.....some insist on putting the apg in the slot......there is no consistency whatsoever :rotfl:
They put it through as a manufacturer coupon if it doesn’t scan or if they cannot be bothered typing the numbers in. I had them put one through as manufacturer coupon today as it wouldn’t scan. They should then put the coupon in their till/the slot on SS if it didn’t process correctly, as the till will be short (if the voucher and receipt are entered correctly they can bin the voucher, as the cash office are not expecting the voucher as it has already been processed by the computer system - this was the whole point of the new till system).
If the apg has processed correctly with the receipt, there is no need to write on the receipt as the till will not let it to be used again with another voucher. That said they sometimes write on the receipt anyway as a way of stopping any future use/misuse (as they don’t understand their own system).

Thanks for that comprehensive reply. Makes more sense now.0 -
I need to return an ill fitting computer game to S, but like a numpty have mislaid the receipt
.
Will they accept returns without a receipt? They know it is not stolen as games are kept locked away with dummy boxes on display, but I know the policy is proof of purchase, and I assume the physical item is not sufficient proof.
Many thanks

Thank you for all your replies - I called in S earlier and played the cannot find my receipt card, but would like to return it (I waited until he asked for the receipt, by which time he had already scanned it) . He said don’t worry, he would refund but will have to refund onto a refund card though ... result.

They do. The Fanta Orange cans are 4 for £1 in M, mix and match includes Diet Coke and Regular Coke as the only two others that are available at A. The two cokes have been available in M for a while - and quite often on 4 for £1. M also have another version of Coke that only arrived in any store I visited in the last couple of months; however I checked at the till on an earlier occasion as the SEL was showing just the individual price and it is not on the mbuy. The SEL has not changed and I don't think it would have slipped onto the mbuy now. I don't think it's available at A in any event.
If the Fanta Orange was previously N/A against M, that is because Fanta Orange is a fairly new addition to M's range of 150ml cans (at least at any of dozens of stores I have ever visited) - it was just Coke and Diet Coke from A before but extremely careful watchers of my M list would have seen Fanta Orange suddenly appear as a new item a few months ago and it has been there ever since.
They are quite expensive - 600ml for £1:eek:! (Or 90p, still quite a lot for the low total quantity.)0 -

Yes, That might be what they are 'supposed' to do.....but the reality is, they do not follow this, despite it being written clearly on the apg. Each store, each member of staff does their own thing....well in my stores anyway.Keep Moving 2018 challenge.

Hey ho, gifts worked as planned but sweets and beans didn't:
13 items (7 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda Tesco
1x Oxo Beef Stock Cubes (12x6g) £1.00 £0.75
1x Dove Men+Care Ultimate Care Gift Set with Shower Tool (each) £8.00 £3.25
1x Heinz Beanz in Tomato Sauce (415g) £0.75 £0.75
1x ASDA Extra Special Dão (75cl) £5.50 N/A
4x Cadbury Curly Wurly Bar (26g) £1.40 £1.20
1x ASDA Vinegar (568ml) £0.24 N/A
1x ASDA Smart Price Longlife Skimmed Milk (1l) £0.57 £0.49
3x Heinz Beanz with Pork Sausages in a Tomato Sauce (415g) £3.21 £3.15
2x Dove Beauty Collection Washbag Body Gift Set (each) £16.00 £9.00
used soup as trigger and 30p flashed choc bar
Curly Wurly is technically better against S (or against M in 4s on shops done in Great Britain). Straight Heinz Beanz are not in the T 4 for £3 offer. They are in a completely different offer (of 2 for £1.30) there - whilst that could work out at 65p each per two for Mr T and therefore fit neatly into one invisible trigger and four appearing items at A, it wouldn't work out very well due to A's lower individual price of 75p on this range of products:(. You need the ones at £1.07 (and, as it's too much of a simplification to just say that, you need, of those ones, ones that are in T's 4 for £3 offer). Or you could, on shops done in G.B., have a 95p Five Beanz against M as M is cheaper price on those - they could also work against T's 2 for £1.30 (but no mixing with 4 for £3 in the same shop as that can't work) but the return vs T is less than that vs M, unless you are shopping in N.I. where it is the only one of these two comps. that you can do.
You still got the A full prices appearing on the appearing Heinz products, so still got something off the 60p price each (5 for £3) from A. However, T's pricing on that mix is not 4 for £3.0 -
I think we need a step by step guide to using two accounts on one phone.
I've not tried yet as still 9 days to go on 1st one.
1. Open Droid Pay.
2. Click on the person image next to your name at the top of 5he screen above your credit/debit card (or the three lines above each other like an = sign with another line!).
3. Click Manage Accounts.
4. click + Add account
5. Click Google.
6. Confirm your pin.
7. Enter your other Gmail email address (then password) or click Create New Account.
Note I cannot get beyond this stage to check further as I don’t currently want to activate another account. This should then add the new account to Droid Pay. If you have an existing card already attached, it should now be visible, if not then follow the instructions for adding a card.
To switch between accounts:
1. Open Droid Pay.
2. Click on the person image - you then choose whichever account you want to use.
As reported, I added one of my other Gmail accounts and then my H4lifax card but it wanted me to phone to verify and I couldn’t remember my phone pin, so I added my FD card (same card as the first account) and verified it without issue and the game appeared (new Droid Pay account as the identifier is the email address - so now have 2 accounts running and playing a few more times per day).
