Just tried, still working (I never completed the sale, so it could be breaking at that point, but the fares and points are still there.)

Sorry to read your news Mrs lds :(

It's not the physical things - they can be replaced, but it's the sense of violation as you say, and sentimental/ memory makers.
I was burgled in my holiday home in Spain - the burglar had walked through the bedroom while we were sleeping with baby DS :(
The usual valuables can be replaced, but the video camera that was taken contained video tape of our DS from baby to his first steps. Even though it happened over 18 years ago - it still hurts :(

    Halfway through catching up...

    tweets how sad :(

Some people seem to have bought incorrectly sized clothes from sainsbooby - you naughty bunch.

Great find with the 4p socks tweets.

Thomas the tank engine and nectar causing issues :rotfl: but points coming through.

Those false teeth really did make me chuckle.

Items that were thought of as non-perishable are perishable

Freewheeling go girl! Well done. :T

It seems that some of you have gone into adopting a child for a single train journey.

Lots of baking going on - all look scrummy. :D

MKS your post about Mad brought back some fond memories. :o

Trouts are breeding rapidly and quite a few present in Sainsbooby!

Off to make a tuna and sweetcorn sandwich now. Rock n roll :rotfl:

Mrs lds So sorry you have been burgled. I hope the police have taken note and hopefully will catch them

We had a spate a few years ago. It was known group of young lads one on whom was small enough to get through the tiniest of windows They all got sent to some type of facility but I know it will not really help I agree it must be the sense of violation that stays with you

    Lots of hugs

Tweets lots of hugs too.I am glad you are able to move forward a bit and its nice that your mum can "leave" from her flat rather than the care home

Think it's terrible that we keep forking out a fortune in insurance and when we need to claim feel reluctant to due to the fear of increased premiums the following year!

We had to claim on our insurance for our roof when we had a leak, I said when we renewed to the lady on the phone i was dreading it because of the claim, she said it doesn't work like that and it didn't our premium actually went down, only a few £'s but never the less:T:T:T

Yes same hear. I did notify them and although we are not going to claim I suspect premiums will still go up.
