I'm new to this Amex small shop (only got my card last week).
Is there any way of finding out which shops do take Amex?
I made a list using the search map, but after making some calls to the shops this morning more than half of them don't take Amex
I know it's doesn't start until Saturday, but I'm just trying to get organised. Any help greatly appreciated. :)

In theory the list/map specifically for the ShopSm promo ... but keep your list or those not accepting then report them to Amex next week and you should hopefully be credited anyway :D.

Other retailers (not small!) are listed here:

My husbands watch and my bracelet from my grandma, yes sentimental. My excess is £350 we needs a new fence and patio door window. Not sure if its worth claiming as concerned with oremiums next year!

Sorry to read your post mrs lds.
Think it's terrible that we keep forking out a fortune in insurance and when we need to claim feel reluctant to due to the fear of increased premiums the following year!
