    My husbands watch and my bracelet from my grandma, yes sentimental. My excess is £350 we needs a new fence and patio door window. Not sure if its worth claiming as concerned with oremiums next year!

    Bloudy disgusting but, as you said, it could have been far worse. So glad you were not there.

    I am paranoid when we leave the house for a few days or more, I hide the most valuable items in some very strange places. And I have photos of my jewellery.

    The qorst thing is how it feels. Not comparable, but we had our shed broken into. Nothing taken, but it felt so dirty afterwards, I just hope that you can get rid of that feeling xx
    What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

    ShopSm hasn't started yet ... but be patient, when it launches, contact Amex and tell them the business isn't taking Amex. In previous years this resulted in the account credit anyway as a thank you for letting them know/apology.

    wAS JUST ABOUT TO SAY WHAT aNON (OOPS, CAPS!) said, keep a list of them, then once a day call Amex ;)

    I'm new to this Amex small shop (only got my card last week).
    Is there any way of finding out which shops do take Amex?
    I made a list using the search map, but after making some calls to the shops this morning more than half of them don't take Amex :eek:

    I know it's doesn't start until Saturday, but I'm just trying to get organised. Any help greatly appreciated. :)

    Just a word of warning to anyone thinking of going absolutely crazy with GWR. This is in their T&Cs:
    All FirstGroup companies reserve the right to:

    (a) withdraw at any time any Nectar points that were granted by FirstGroup:
    (i) in the case of any fraudulent activity;
    (ii) in error - as solely determined by Nectar and/or FirstGroup (for example if the Nectar logo was mistakenly displayed on the view item page of an excluded item);

    Oh Mrs Ids, I'm so sorry to read this. What a horrible experience for you to go through. It's the sentimental items which are irreplaceable which are the worst things to be taken.

    I've never claimed on house insurance, but I had to claim on car insce last year, and tbh it made no difference at all to my renewal this year (but I did change providers, and did tell them about the claim).

    Hi Karlie

    I was wondering if you were still hanging around.

    While we were away I had the s & S G&B milk chocolate delivered and surprise surprise only 5 bars arrived instead of the expected 15 (I screen shotted everything) so a kind Amazone CS refunded my money :T

    I've been trying to get the giant boxes of Felix with 120 sachets from Amazone mentioned on the dark side to work but I cant seem to get any codes to work, even changing the varieties - maybe I am not looking at the right ones.
    This sized Felix I got for £16 odd a few months back and then deeply regretted only getting one box last time

    Works out at around £5 for 6 of them delivered if you have Prime. Not the best but not bad either.
