Yes that is an option to send him, but choose a £3 ticket (price without railcard) not an £8 one .
Oxford to Reading adult ticket with railcard seems to be an option, advanced ticket at least 7 days ahead. Don't forget to enter your N3ctar card.

My rail card query was a REAL question about the benefits of a rail card for 16-25 year olds
I've looked into it and you get a third discount on £12+ fares but only if you travel after 10am, so that's no use for college journeys. Plus I think it costs £30 a year fee.
Thanks though Anon.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -
Good morning all, a bit cloudy here but relatively mild.sarahskint wrote: »I found a tin of beans and sausages in the cupboard a couple of days ago from all the fillers we used to get lol dated march 2014, they were slightly darker than normal but after a dollop of tommy k they were fine :rotfl:
We have a tin of octopus in the cupboard. I bought it for OH before we were married, so it is at least 35 years old, it does not even have a date on it  It is more of a souvenir these days than potential food :rotfl::rotfl:marmitelovemehateme wrote: »Anyone going to Sainsbury's looking for a protein snack...These sound quite tasty..
Crickets are set to hit the shelves as Sainsbury’s becomes the first supermarket to sell edible bugs.
Customers will be able to fill their shopping baskets with Eat Grub’s Smoky BBQ Crunchy Roasted Crickets in 250 of the supermarket giant’s stores from Sunday.
The house crickets, also known as acheta domesticus, are farmed in Europe will come in packets of about 50 and sell for £1.50 per bag.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I bet they are like the live crickets you can get for pets but didn't quite make it so decided to package them for this :rotfl::rotfl:Sarahdol75 wrote: »Thats what we think it is a shark, it was all leathery when you touch it.
Shark skin is not leathery, or shouldn't be, it should be more like sandpaper. It could simply be a very big fish (yes I have seen fish that size if not bigger) but did it have teeth? What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Leggings are suitable - I wear them to court but with a dress and jacket (they are more comfortable and cheaper than tights). It is you decision what you wear xxx
With probate, I would strongly suggest whoever is completing the forms to ring them up and ask them to talk you through it - my BIL did dads which was send back 5 times, I then rang them and they were lovely told me what to write where. xxxx
Sadly it states no printed coupons... wished I lived in London (but only for the Metro and PD's cakes)

Thanks though Anon.. A real child for a real journey ... who would have thought that would be mentioned on here
.
Sorry, I focused on the rest of the discussion. I can't see why you couldn't if it takes the discount off a £3 fare then £8 could be possible? Check the online booking options - it would be good to get extra N3ctar on his regular tickets if you could. Would there be a student/young persons regional weekly/monthly ticket that may save even more? (Some regions have student passes that can work on trains and buses). He would have his railcard with him as he would show it with the ticket.
