Son uses the train one day a week to get to college. I noticed the 16-25 rail card mentioned, would this give any discounts on a £8 ish ticket please?
Wondered if it's worth looking into.

I haven't played the train nectar game as my last 2 didn't work......

I couldn't work out why people were mentioning January when an advanced ticket booked to travel after 31 October (booked before 12.30 Thursday 29/11) would count.

The website isn't particularly web friendly (on my phone anyway!) and I can't select the right options to check, sorry (and the cheapest tickets option is merged under the Accessibility settings so I can't access it ... oh the irony ).

Yes that is an option to send him, but choose a £3 ticket (price without railcard) not an £8 one :eek:.

Oxford to Reading adult ticket with railcard seems to be an option, advanced ticket at least 7 days ahead. Don't forget to enter your N3ctar card.
