Anyone got an idiots guide please?
    many thanbks. xx

I had the same problem so just booked an adult ticket for £3:

    20 Dec 2018
departs Reading at 09:52 travel by Train service provider Great Western Railway to station Oxford arrives 10:17
  • Right, I have a challenge.

Currently thinking about treating myself to the new Kindle Paperwhite, I can currently get it down to £64 using a new very account code (have to pay delivery though as can't use click & collect on a new account).

Can anyone come up with a way to get it cheaper? :D

It's 4GB, but my Kobo Touch only has 2GB and I have never got anywhere near filling it!

The code takes £30 off it :D

This is floating around everywhere for £89.99 at the moment (in more ways than one lol)

    Morning peeps.

Son uses the train one day a week to get to college. I noticed the 16-25 rail card mentioned, would this give any discounts on a £8 ish ticket please?
Wondered if it's worth looking into.

I haven't played the train nectar game as my last 2 didn't work......

After 10am there is no minimum fare and July & August. May be worth pricing 2 singles as he could use the rail card on the return journey with no minimum fare.

You can also find ways to buy the railcard cheaper than £30. Some sites have offers occasionally and also tesco clubcard vouchers can be exchanged for rail cards.

Where are you buying it from? any cash back offers? You sometimes see then offered as freebies with mobile phone contracts/ insurance products and then they hit ebay/ Cex a short while later.

Good point, thank you :D It is on Very because there is a £30 new customer code, Q has 18% at the moment and it might actually work as Very codes are applied about a day later I think.
