    :)

Beautiful day to be leaving Aberystwyth, just hearing the sea all night & day is divine.
That Sister's tongue has swollen badly so need to get home, she thinks it's a reaction to the sugar in her ice cream yesterday.

Well done on the socks tweets :D

If all else fails - read the instructions...

  • Morning all! I'm going to Ts later today so I will look out for socks and robins. It's damp and gloomy here at the moment but it's meant to brighten up later. We're going round a friend's house for a BBQ tonight! Then I've got a running race tomorrow morning.

Is anyone else with OFTM? I know Michaels is. They've been really annoying a lot of their customers. Earlier in the week we got an email saying that they're putting their tariff up by 8% which was a bit annoying, but they still worked out as the cheapest for me. Then we got an email saying that they're changing their DDs so you pay more in the winter than the summer......then another email confirming the amount that they want me to pay. In the winter they want to put my DD up by 50% than what it is already! If I do the maths on our actual consumption then the combined 6 months of winter DD, and 6 months of summer DD will mean that we end up paying almost 50% more over the year. It doesn't make any sense at all. They then sent another email saying that if we were unhappy with this then we have to send photos of our meter readings and they'll reconsider. I already give them a meter reading every month. It's all bonkers.

    Rant over.

Eeeeeeeee found a 10 pack of birdies. Found label for 36p but these were on top shelf. Check code it was right. Took photo. Bought. Went through at £2.50 each. Went to CS and after having to ask got 42.80 back on my card. Also got cheese at lidl and daily fail.

Oh, is Lidl cheese this week. I thought it was next. I am still in my dressing gown & getting my haircut in a bit so will have missed it :(.

When I went last time for cheese it was late afternoon on the Saturday and they still had loads. So hopefully you'll be okay.

Amateurs :D. Oxford to Reading or Reading to Oxford, £1.50 for a child on GWR flagged trains. We need to discover if there are any shorter routes on GWR specific trains.

    Anything cheaper?

Play with some stations on the Reading - Gatwick line, I know there is some reasonable hops there but to tell you the one I am thinking of would give away my location, which is a rather small town so :silenced:
