I was going to but, seeing as the 1000 points ones I did in the week have not registered at all, I need to work out what went wrong first.

I followed the helpful instructions but I think I messed up entering my nectar number - at the payment stage it said 'you could earn points on this ticket ' and I put my number in there. Was that the wrong place ? Neither LNER or virgin mentioned nectar on their confirmation emails.

Both mine have now tracked the base points:T

Been bed but couldn't sleep so came downstairs :(

    Ah...bless you tweets:A

I'm heading out the door to double up £160 over 2 cards.

I will be found wandering around homeware ad nauseum putting things in my trolley and taking them out again. I will also be in the wine aisle with a pen and paper:D

See if the 1/2 points have registered, if so you should be okay, as the 1000 points can take 28 days. (you do sometimes have to chase them though).

That's the problem Dave - nothing has registered on my nectar account for either journey ! They were the trains Anon mentioned and my card details were taken. I think I am scuppered.

It can take 2-3 days (sometimes more) for the virgin/LNER base points to register.

Thank you - maybe there is still hope. Off to Sri Lanka tomorrow for three weeks in the sun so I will forget about points, bargains etc for a while !

    Morning :(

Gave up trying to sleep so got taxi to Tesco and looked high low and up in rafters and no Robins but found the 4p socks and speedy Gonzalez got them through SS quick quick. Got tv mag first so I could hide socks under it only excepting find 1 pair but I found 12 :) Paid with tenner because my maths is bad under normal circumstances so no chance this morning . I then folded my bag with socks up and went doing my other shopping and found these poor babies yellow stickered needing a good home. If plant in pot doesn't make it I like the vase for 60p Poinsettia's 45p each. Did rest of shopping then taxi home
