Well I still have £70 left to spend in S.

    Tomorrow is another day

I bought a couple of the real Christmas trees at £10 each today along with everything else. I was refused them last year on double up but they went through fine this year.
I got these egyptian sheets too at £6.50 each:T only double and single available

Thank you to everyone for the amazing moneysaving work you do! Thanks to all your hints and tips, this morning I got my lidl shop (including booze and some Christmas nibbles for the snack cupboard) for a smidge over £30, 25% less than it should have been. I then got Christmas chocs, tree chocs, shortbread for a present and an xbox game on the double up (despite the SA and her manager saying it probably wouldn't work). I also got some pre Black Friday sale items as presents for MIL in Argos. I'm a happy (if slightly knackered) bunny :D:money::j

Only small downside was the whole shelf and top shelf full of robins, which (after the hand scanner had a bit of a think) went through at £2.50. No RTC label for me anymore though, more's the pity. I think the DTD would have been into triple figures, judging by how many packs there were :rotfl:

    Morning all!

No, but the SA read through all the Ts and Cs like his life depended on it. He had already approved my first bottle and hadn't seen the second, so he assumed I only had one. That makes me wonder whether it's actually SA willing rather than the till. I noticed when he approved the voucher that the alert on the till said 'high risk item' though, so they're obviously expecting troublemakers to try their luck :rotfl:

I bought 12 bottles on ss. SA put it though @ 12x. When I went to pay, I had to ask her to put the coupon through as there wasn't a 'coupon' button. She explained that coupons are put through before you press the pay button. She went back and voila it worked. So go through the ss if you have one.;)

Amateurs :D. Oxford to Reading or Reading to Oxford, £1.50 for a child on GWR flagged trains. We need to discover if there are any shorter routes on GWR specific trains.

    Anything cheaper?

I identified that last night :) ... so nothing cheaper with GWR specified
trains has been appeared yet ...

I was wondering if anyone here can recommend a flea treatment for dogs?

We've been using advantage, last given in September, but I just saw something crawling on the dog  guessing it's a flea, and come to think of it he has been a bit scratchy lately.

I was hoping to get something from here https://www.pet-supermarket.co.uk/Dog/Dog-Flea-Ticks/c/PSGB00056

fuzzgun.....I have used all the over the counter treatments for my dog....Most of them have no effect on my Cocker....The vet advised me to use a tablet form for him rather than these spot on treatments.....For three years having used just one tablet he was flea free until a few months ago when he started to get fleas again....I went to the vet and got a prescription for Comfortis...I had to get a box of six tablets and gave him one crushed into his food.....He's been flea free now for two months with just one tablet treatment.....Horrible things as they get into the carpet and lay eggs all over the place.....Advise you to get a prescription and get it online as vets do charge over the odds for treatments.

    Hope this helps :D

As with all treatments some can have side effects...Have a read up online in case you are concerned...My dog has never had adverse effects from this tablet.
