I’m not sure how an advance single is defined. I bought a ticket in advance for Monday and have to collect my ticket from Plymouth station some time over this weekend. Time alone will tell.

I found this on their website:
    https://www.gwr.com/plan-journey/tickets-railcards-and-season-tickets/ticket-types
To make it easier for you to choose the right ticket, we’ve made things simple and explained our popular ticket types and the benefits they offer below.

Advance - great value ticket with flexible return dates. Mix and match fares for outward and return journeys
Off-Peak - cheap travel with some added flexibility. Make your outbound journey on your selected date and return on any Off-Peak service within one calendar month from the start date shown on the ticket
Super Off-Peak - save more by travelling outside the busiest times. Available on most London journeys and on any train at weekends
Anytime - our most flexible ticket with no restrictions on when you can travel

I've played about with bookings and found that "Advanced Single" does show up as a ticket option for some routes

I might just book a £1.20 ticket and see what happens...

    Morning :(

Gave up trying to sleep so got taxi to Tesco and looked high low and up in rafters and no Robins but found the 4p socks and speedy Gonzalez got them through SS quick quick. Got tv mag first so I could hide socks under it only excepting find 1 pair but I found 12 :) Paid with tenner because my maths is bad under normal circumstances so no chance this morning . I then folded my bag with socks up and went doing my other shopping and found these poor babies yellow stickered needing a good home. If plant in pot doesn't make it I like the vase for 60p Poinsettia's 45p each. Did rest of shopping then taxi home

Has anyone used the lidl voucher on more than two bottles of alcohol? tia

    Morning all!

No, but the SA read through all the Ts and Cs like his life depended on it. He had already approved my first bottle and hadn't seen the second, so he assumed I only had one. That makes me wonder whether it's actually SA willing rather than the till. I noticed when he approved the voucher that the alert on the till said 'high risk item' though, so they're obviously expecting troublemakers to try their luck :rotfl:
