just updated now and it says 2 points lol I must have done it wrong.
That's what you want. The bonus points are supposed to be added by 12/12. You'll probably find you have to chase it up though ( i wait until about a week after the promised date)Mine has gone wrong too - no mention of Nectar points at all even though I put my card number in when I booked.
Give it a few more days :cool:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Sometimes I think I take for granted how lucky I am to have a roof over my head and to feel safe.
Barnardos seems to charge different prices depending on location. Ours has all clothes at £1.99. In Rhyl, where I go every so often (not for the charity shops!) everything is 99p and I have found loads of stuff there, so much so that I will never again buy a black tee, short sleeves or long! I also go there for zips and buttons as it's cheaper than buying new. Sometimes I get some dye from Wilko and refresh black (especially) trousers, tee shirts etc which have faded. They come out like new and it's worth the outlay, especially if it's one of the TCB or Q bonus days. I did a 99p pair of jeans recently, together with old jeans which I'm going to sew with, dying them the jeans colour, which I don't intend to do again as they came out a very peculiar colour and nothing like any jeans I'd seen before. They are OK though and I was particularly pleased that the yellow stitching had been done in polyester or something which didn't take the dye so it's still there very clearly on the jeans.
Thanks for the tip re the dye. I do alter and sew things I pick up, but that hadn't entered my head.
I often pick up threads and buttons in Charity shops too - I like nothing better than the contents of and old sewing basket!0 -
