    I would not even see them as the same things Savvy. The tin is a special item, for a special occasion, where as the packets are well, just biscuits.

    If I were in your situation I would open a packet of chocolate digestives and (try to) save the Victoria biscuits for Christmas. In reality 4 packets of chocolate digestives and a box of biscuits would probably all be gone before Christmas anyway (in our house), so perhaps it doesn’t matter.

    Like you say though, whilst you’re making up your mind none are being opened and eaten so they are lasting longer.:T:T

    Morning Savvy, I agree too - save the special box for Christmas, like DM I see boxed biscuits as a different item to everyday packet biscuits.
