Anon,
Sorry to sound stupid, but is this at Tesco? If so you wouldn't happen to know what departments the double up is on?
Its from Sainsburgs.
On another note, from Hukd

10 pack skittles reduced to 50p in !!!!!!

Swizzels Spooky Treat or Treat tub 1.05 kg reduced to £2.50

.
Typical - I bought Maltesers Funsize at 75p each, for the TCB offer, only to find Skittles Funsize have gone to 50p:(! However, I wanted chocolate rather than more sweets so I think I did right. Really I am just trying to make myself feel good and justify my earlier purchase now though.
I have now got a !!!!!! 'digital gift card' to use instore. Although it's £2.58, I had to print it off which probably costs 8p anyway so I would have been just as well to transfer straight £2.50 to my bank. And now I am on here writing and posting at 1p per hour electricity cost so spending money to view MSE:rotfl:. I could buy some Skittles, or the sweets tub, within the gift card as that's free money:wall:. However, it's rather defeating the point as I've decided I don't really need any more sweets or chocolates so will be using that amount on essentials. After all, if it's for Christmas, that is just a single day so two packs of chocolates and a bag of sweets will be fine - I don't see why I need more than that - plus I have many bags of crisps anyway.
It seems I will be shopping at !!!!!! anyway as Mr T has send me three CC vouchers which, as I just end up visiting the same few days out places anyway, that are convenient to get to, but spending money on petrol we wouldn't have used, so end up spending more, I am using instore this time. I like that the vouchers are various values so I don't have to spend as much on a shop and are effectively a few "APG" vouchers for me to use at T instead, plus the gift card money. It should keep me going a short while seeing that it seems I don't mind paying cash to Aldi, Lidl, Home Bargains, Farmfoods - just the major supermarkets I seem not to like giving cash to:rotfl:. Most of the vouchers are from £7.50 that T Bank sent to me as the 12 month rate on my one of my Internet Savers was ending - effectively giving me probably about the same as interest for one month for all the future months that have been taken away. I've also got some points from T Bank debit card spending - I didn't realise they were kept separately from the other points so they've still got just over 50p between the two points collections that they've kept and I'll now be working out ways to get round values for vouchers from each in future.
I'm also having wombled receipts for CC points that will add up, plus the survey each month, that will probably be quicker than Sains. that only wanted to give me a quid in bonus points on each petrol run recently:( - hardly worth it I felt!0 -
I've got some biscuits, some at least of which we will be having for Christmas. Could someone help me make a decision about them as I just can't decide what to do.
We have one 600g pack of McVities Victoria Biscuits, that were from Avs Waities very early in the year. I also have several ordinary packs of A's Chocolate Digestives that I was buying a number of times with APG vouchers last month on the basis that they didn't compare to anywhere else for 10% cheaper earlier anyway and same price as what were the 'non-comparable' range at T and same as Aldi's price etc.
The Victoria Biscuits are BB November 18 but the Choc Digestives are not until March 19. I guess I ought to be using the Victoria Biscuits as they are sooner date (but I know, as soon as I open them, the whole pack will be gone within a few days). I keep wanting to open a March 19 Choc Digestives pack though, even though we have the Victoria Biscuits that do contain some Chocolate Digestives. Should I open the Victoria Biscuits box and use that or should I open one of the three or four packs of Choc Digestives even though that's not until well into next year?
I just can't decide. I haven't been able to decide what I should do for over a week now. It's actually helping in a way as it's ensured I've opened up neither the box nor any of the packs:rotfl:. The Victoria Biscuits were supposed to be to try to stretch until Christmas, even though that's the month after and then near the end of the month. I ought to be using some of them though rather than opening a brand new Choc Digestives pack that has several more months to BB or some Fig Rolls that were of course bought several times, each compared against T, in September and also have several months yet to run. The trouble is the Victoria Box will not be truly airtight once it is opened - I could have some biscuits other than choc digs now from it, that wasn't the point, I'm not necessarily going to have Choc Digestives (just that I feel like opening a Choc Digestives pack rather than opening up the box). As the Victoria box BB is up much sooner, I ought to be using it really rather than the March stuff. I just can't decide!
Simple decisions - they are very complicated:rotfl:. If it's something where I have potentially a lot more to lose however, then I always find it easy and make a rash decision that turns out to be the wrong one:(!
I am buying no more biscuits now, not even with CC vouchers or gift card, as they are prohibited items banned from purchase if I am really saving money, unless there is a free offer or coupon for free product anywhere.0 -
Savvy, save the box until xmas, and also some of the other ones too. But open a normal packet.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

) or Q/TCB cashback.

AnonI was heading to C00p for the croissant and choc au pain advertised for 1 day, when I checked CoS last night. As I had another day and would be close by a store tonight, I left it ... tonight I checked and no sign of them so it appears they ended it early .

get a £100 statement credit on an eligible transaction of £500+ online at Cunard Cruises
get a £5 statement credit on eligible spend of £30+ online using PayPal
I got 5% off at sains, not sure if I can make any profit out of this (sometimes a return in the following statement period works) - I wonder how they decide who gets what offer.I think....0 -

I know - that's what I thought. But it's taking it out of order though.
I'm going to be arguing with you in a minute - I don't want to be doing this!:rotfl: Now I'm arguing with myself:rotfl::rotfl:!
Maybe I am too obsessed about things having to be in precise order, in this case in date order:think:. Even though the packs are scattered chaotically in a cupboard draw (and the McVities biscuits box is just out, waiting its turn to be used, next).
Can someone else also give a view please, and then I'll make a decision. Maybe:rotfl:.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
(I'll return no doubt sometime later in the day to catch up - got a lot of different things to sort it through today. See you later:wave:)
(dm - It's not a second opinion. It's not that I don't trust you or anything like that. Even though it very much seems like it is:o:o:rotfl:)0 -
I now just think that common sense ought to be open up a packet of choc digestives. Even though I don't have any (common sense):rotfl:. Does anyone besides dm agree - I should open up one of the choc digestives packets?0

If you want Nectar isn't the Gold Rewards still better value (for the first 3 months)?
I thought it was a one day only thing yesterday. There is always checking under 'claim' to see if it disappeared earlier in the day.

I haven't checked recently but Gold equates to £100+ Amazon so would be difficult to beat.
The CoS offer said 1 day left rather than X hours when I checked last night.

I am hoping my most recent gold will equate to £250 cash (via double up on Nectar)
Ok - I thought the sweetener changed from x hours to 1 day but the coop croissants remained 'hours' for me.
Any tips for new BB supplier?I think....0
