    Good morning.

Pinch, punch, first of the month. White rabbits etc :).

New month resolutions required (a year is too big to grapple with :D). Mine is to get through more items on my to do list at home and in work - some have been on there for a while :o. Oh ... and less time procrastinating ;).

I like the idea of monthly resolutions, my to do list is so long............

same worry here. Its the tax free lump sum we will need to keep us afloat
The state pension age keeps shifting upwards so I don't even count this into the calculations
Its a difficult tight rope to walk - OH has new bosses so this change over period is fraught but work is all he has ever done. If he retired he would be bored rigid as he has few outside interests.
We have had an empty nest again since May so I am used to having my own space again and OH would get on my nerves just hanging around the house and cluttering the place up :D

Well the grumpy one is now officially retired and I know it is only a week in, but we haven't argued yet, which in itself is unusual!!:rotfl::rotfl:

He has, so far this week, done the ironing, which he used to do but hasn't touched since I retired and also cleaned the bedroom!!:T:T

We are having 'meetings' re how to invest his lump sum - he usually gets very angry as he can't manage his online banking well. But we are getting there!

I had unexpected tax rebate of over £2k today:T:T I was expecting about 200:T:T:T:T

Gold (if collect Avios/want Amazon or other giftcards etc for joining) or N3ctar if you collect points. If you are referred you get 22k points for Gold (after £2k spend in 3 months) and a good deal for N3ctar too (can't access on my phone :() or Q/TCB cashback.

I was heading to C00p for the croissant and choc au pain advertised for 1 day, when I checked CoS last night. As I had another day and would be close by a store tonight, I left it ... tonight I checked and no sign of them so it appears they ended it early .

If you have an appropriate photo then you can put 6 passport photos on to a 6"x4" print using online websites:

    https://www.idphoto4you.com/

    or

    https://www.123passportphoto.com/uk-passport-photos.php

Save the image. Then in true MSE style go to Boots/Tesco etc. and print off a standard 6x4 print for a few pence.

Or go further and get 10 prints delivered for free:

    https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/free-photo-prints/#photoprintdeals

Thank you both. Will pass this to my DD to do :)
