  • Oooh, how long has "my parcel live" been on the Parcelforce website? Apparently it should be delivered by Paul between 13:00 and 14:00!

  • How did your run go yesterday on Dartmoor Freewheeling? :A

I may have been able to see you from the top floor of my house :)

Edit: Just catching up and see you came 1st of the ladies - well done! :T :T :T

Thank you Jeremiah :). I didn't realise that you were local.

It was a lovely course, very scenic on the edge of the moor.

It was a cold ride in this morning, lots of frost. My fingers have just about thawed out. I thought I was being very clever yesterday by staying on BST in order to save my extra hour for this morning. But then I woke up 40 minutes before my alarm was due to go off. Nevermind!

Iceland had half price Halloween things this morning including funsize mars bags 350ish gram for £1. Mine had Milky Way mars and variety.

Few other Halloween things like bowls etc.

This store did have bbq, managed two and a C&O. Hand scanner thing asked for a random check luckily bbq weren’t scanned. SS was fine with 3 crisp mocs as I put them through first no SA needed (maybe this is the trick).
2nd time tried a manned till with 2 bbq hoping for a manual imput but SA wasn’t that good and said it’s because not on photo  so got one S&V that time.
Tuna scanned at £3.50 here, and I found the 10p water (thanks to op) both sparkling and still, but didn’t have too many. I got a few still.

6 crisp mocs left now.

You are welcome. The water was only 3p in my store.

    Good morning shipmates

Yesterday, I thought I was going to mow the lawn for the last time this year - only it exploded in a ball of smoke and oil halfway through :o So today's task is the put in a new head gasket and hope it works after that.

I know it's going to remain cold today, so I had the idea of firing up the chimnea to keep me warm whilst I tinker - until DD pointed out that it was not a good idea after all with the petrol fumes from the engine. She's so sensible - No wonder I'm accident prone :o

 Well that would definitely save you mowing it! :D

    Good morning Elite.
Hoping everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.
