  • Good morning.
We left home on Thursday morning and had a lovely overnight stay in Stratford upon Avon. On Friday we moved on to Oxford, what a beautiful city that is. On Saturday afternoon as we were heading towards bubbs area the turbo blew on the car.
Luckily we were heading to stay with friends so they came and picked us up. It hasn't spoiled our little jaunt but its made it quite expensive, £384 for a trip home today with the RAC at least dh doesn't have to do the drive.
So I'm renaming it F###Tober as its been a very expensive month, well it will be once we've had the turbo replaced.

    Curlys Tuna Crunch.:D

Mix mayo with dash of Tommy K.
    Season to taste.
Finely dice cucumber, red pepper, red onion and add some sweet corn.
    Plus 2 tins tuna.

Makes a massive bowl and lasts a couple of days.

    Any other ideas welcome.

    Morning peeps.
    Soup weather. :rotfl:

    Morning all :)

Had planned to hit S hard yesterday, but after having a routine mammogram on Tuesday I got the dreaded letter yesterday morning inviting me for a follow up assessment appointment on November 9th. It's arrived far too quickly for my liking :( Didn't really have the heart for shopping after that. Will try harder today.

Shocked and saddened by the news from Leicester City :(
November 9th is a while away so hopefully that means its only precautionary. However it will be the longest two weeks of your life, I've got everything crossed for you that its nothing to worry about x
T shop minimal - only 2 packs crisps & 1 solitary pack tuna. Few nice whoopsie items. Totally forgot to look for the suntan lotion :(

    S shops - ok but nothing to shout about, 1 x 500, 2 x 200. Few nice whoopsie items :)

DS made the change ok at Edinburgh & is now on the train to Wigan. Just one more leg to go :D

So glad he managed that journey you must be so relieved he's home.
Is there any tuna left in your town? No idea what time we will get back today but will need milk etc so could go there instead of Bscough if there were some left.

My mum's looked after Bobby for us whilst we've been away, when I spoke to her on Saturday he was curled up on the chair in the window  he wont want to come home :rotfl:

No 5k nectar for us but 14400 total, would be nice to extract at 1p per point on double up but we do have 160k points altogether to try and extract, have ordered a couple more cards on the account to see if that helps.
    I think....

So, bit of a dilemma for me. I have 10 crisp mocs left.
Do I travel again spending £3 ish in petrol to a different T in the hope of getting multiple packs.. not worth it for only 1 pack.

Does anyone local know what staff are like with crisp mocs in T st0ckton?

This store did have bbq, managed two and a C&O. Hand scanner thing asked for a random check luckily bbq weren’t scanned. SS was fine with 3 crisp mocs as I put them through first no SA needed (maybe this is the trick).
2nd time tried a manned till with 2 bbq hoping for a manual imput but SA wasn’t that good and said it’s because not on photo  so got one S&V that time.
Tuna scanned at £3.50 here, and I found the 10p water (thanks to op) both sparkling and still, but didn’t have too many. I got a few still.

6 crisp mocs left now.

If I understood correctly, you can collect vouchers only from stores where you have used the card in the past year (at the time of the promo). Given how the system seems to work, updating overnight rather than live, in theory at minimum you should be able to get £200 turned into vouchers at each store (possibly £200 each time in the same store, if only policed by the CS, rather than the system, as it was last year :)).

In preparation, if you have stores nearby where you haven't been, you could use your N3ctar cards there before the promo to get the store linked with your card?

We have a similar number of points across our accounts .
