Never knew anything about the trip advisor points and I have over 4k so just googled it. They are just for fun and go towards next badge!
I went to sainsbury with other car and filled up 3 times all in one go. Just got 3 x 200 so disappointed as it is nearly cost me this much in petrol to get there.

So busy chatting with the other regulars at whoopsie time at tesco that I forgot to check the tuna. No suncream in my store. Plenty of reductions but only 75pc off so not so appealing.

So, bit of a dilemma for me. I have 10 crisp mocs left.
Do I travel again spending £3 ish in petrol to a different T in the hope of getting multiple packs.. not worth it for only 1 pack.

Does anyone local know what staff are like with crisp mocs in T st0ckton?

They will be fine at Durham fuzzy but a long way to come ....today they were out of most of the crisps and I would hate you to waste a journey

A side story to Trip Advisor...

...someone created a fake listing for a restaurant in London with the sole aim of getting it to number 1 in the rankings by writing fake reviews.

The restaurant was called 'The Shed at Dulwich' and after a few months was ranked number 1 out of 18,000 restaurants in London. :rotfl:

It got to a point where he opened up his 'shed' for one night and served frozen ready meals:

And let's not forget the Sainsbury's supermarket trolley tunnel that's ranked 3 out of 27 things to do in Bude, Cornwall:

    Evening all!

Anyone else have tuna for tea? :rotfl:

In the spirit of trying to continue clearing out the random bags of unidentifiable freezer food, I have now got 3 bags of what I hope are chicken drumsticks defrosting for tomorrow. Given the general downturn in temperature and my dislike of cooking after work, the slow cooker seems to be the best option but I'm lacking in inspiration.

Neither I nor DH like hot or spicy food, so curry is out, but any other suggestions for alternative slow cooker chicken recipes using cupboard store staples would be much appreciated :D

This is not too spicy Arthien

    5-6 large chicken legs
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1/3 cup honey
    3 tbsp soy sauce
    Fine,y chopped onion
    Seasoning

Step 1: Place chicken legs in slow cooker.
Step 2: Mix all other ingredients in small bowl.
Step 3: Pour mixture over chicken legs.
Step 4: Cook on high 4 hours/low 6-8 hours or until chicken is cooked through.

I'm so annoyingly right again - that [the part above I've highlighted], to the end of what you've said, was exactly the point I was making.

I don't know whether to highlight the word "today" or not:rotfl: - in other words, to say that they might be fine on another day - just that crisps, with coupons for them, for obvious reasons will tend to be OOS on weekend shopping days (in other words, days when most people shop). I've basically already said all this in my last post - to wait until into Monday, or even to Tuesday, and you might have more luck but it just depends where you visit, what they turn out to have left on the shelves (if anything)!

I think it's all obvious things, that people consider anyway when making a journey (particularly a special journey) to a supermarket - it's just that I'm responding in a technical manner on every point again.
