Tweets, was reading in the paper yesterday, that classic FM are playing certain songs that are meant to keep dogs calm during fireworks all this coming Saturday night, it is in conjunction with Battersea I think.

Thank you Dave I tried a cd last year was sending me sleep but Poppy was still petrified :D

We have not heard many fireworks this year hope I haven't put mockers on it.

Heard some other night and Poppy was fast asleep by my side and didn't move.

Its funny fireworks can go off on tv and Poppy doesn't bother .

I am taking her vets on Thursday getting the pills I got last year for next weekend.

Wonder if she going a tad deaf in her older years.

    Evening all!

Anyone else have tuna for tea? :rotfl:

In the spirit of trying to continue clearing out the random bags of unidentifiable freezer food, I have now got 3 bags of what I hope are chicken drumsticks defrosting for tomorrow. Given the general downturn in temperature and my dislike of cooking after work, the slow cooker seems to be the best option but I'm lacking in inspiration.

Neither I nor DH like hot or spicy food, so curry is out, but any other suggestions for alternative slow cooker chicken recipes using cupboard store staples would be much appreciated :D

Evening all. I did really well at sainsbobs too. Filled 2 cars, did 1 £10 shop, and got 14300 points :) Well pleased with that. I can only recall 1 x 5000 but when looking at receipts, I have redeemed 2. Confusing but suits me :D

Does anyone on here write reviews on trip advisor? I do and keep getting awarded points. However I haven't a clue what you can do with these points. Does anyone know please ?

I do the same, also clueless what the points can be used for.

    That's good.
I'll have some cake now then, it's 100% better than my attempt.
