Thanks, I’ve made a claim on Slopimum for all 3.

Today’s shopping was a bit of a let down. Traveled to another T, no bbq crisps, and the jobsworth on ss was awful “only one per transaction” managed 3 packs.
I did get 5 tuna though, thanks to op on that one.

Then on to S, only did one transaction which gave another 500 :(

So I’ve spat my dummy out with S. 11 transactions 8x 500 and 3x 200. No wombles either. Disappointing:(

You are welcome, glad that you managed to get some tuna.

It's a good job I don't work for the benefits agencies assessing any claim (as and when needed to be made) from someone like my relative as I'd been questioning why someone had a diagnosis of both schizophrenia and Asperger's when that was "impossible":rotfl:.

Fortunately the admin. staff don't know medical stuff either. If the question ever came up - which it would not - the answer would be that the "schizophrenia" isn't schizophrenia and the "Asperger's" is really Asperger's either:rotfl:. "Then you've got nothing... claim rejected:mad:". "No-oh..., another misunderstanding again:p:):wall::cool:"

Does anyone on here write reviews on trip advisor? I do and keep getting awarded points. However I haven't a clue what you can do with these points. Does anyone know please ?

Think that it makes you 'more' credible. Not all points lead to stuff. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

For anyone near the Br0adwater superstore, there is plenty of tuna there on the end of the aisle opposite the bakery. sel says £3.50 but they go through at the reduced price. I saw a chap looking at the tuna in the main aisle where the sel is £1. I asked him if he was looking for that tuna. He said, no I want it in sunflower oil and picked up a single tin. I said that the 4 packs were at the end of the aisle for a few pence more. His response? I only have one tin a week!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I said that the tins are dated till 2022. His reply? Oh well, might as well, it will save me buying one next week. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Can't help some people.

A side story to Trip Advisor...

...someone created a fake listing for a restaurant in London with the sole aim of getting it to number 1 in the rankings by writing fake reviews.

The restaurant was called 'The Shed at Dulwich' and after a few months was ranked number 1 out of 18,000 restaurants in London. :rotfl:

It got to a point where he opened up his 'shed' for one night and served frozen ready meals:

And let's not forget the Sainsbury's supermarket trolley tunnel that's ranked 3 out of 27 things to do in Bude, Cornwall:

Oops:doh:, another long post there:o (not really, I'm not embarrassed by such a thing:p, I'm not, I can't pretend to be!:p:D:rotfl:). Sorry. I just kept writing. However, at least I was talking about supermarket visits (at least towards the end), so - sort of - money-saving related. I think avoid them as best you can:rotfl:. Except for crisps coupons and the excellent deals with have on here:T.

Actually on that, now I've gone into detail and off on a tangent, the person who said about spending £3 in travel to get some crisps. My thought is it might not be worth it if you get to a store and find it only has one pack left. Some of my stores have been OOS, on weekends certainly, by now. They will get new stock in around mid-morning during the week, I hope. Just depends on whether you are lucky with wherever you pick to visit - could find lots of stock and then your journey would have been worth it maybe or could find nothing and then it wasn't. So, at any event, I wouldn't be travelling, personally, but this is just me, if it's £3 petrol on a weekend. As stores likely to have empty shelves where baked crisps should be at this time. I might try Tuesday morning to see if my store has stock (just giving them another day, Monday, to still have no stock and then get some in - my timing might be out again though - of course that's what I may have tried last week, but we now have the expiry date of the coupons running up against us as well).

I think I'll now put the rest of what I was going to say (which was to have been the main subject of this post until I started talking about something else, namely the crisps) onto a separate post as the above would now have been lost if I went on about something else. Which is to be the fact that I don't have problems with supermarket visits, but other people do. (In fact, although I don't want you to, you might as well ignore my next post now as that one last sentence basically says the gist of what I am going to be saying and you get the point from it - but the detail may appear for anyone who is interested in it.)
