DS is making the journey back from Aberdeen today. Having established that he got on the 1st train ok (albeit very anxious) I can now go to T & S before checking that he makes the change at Edinburgh without any hiccups

Finally made it to S. Five shops and three petrols yielded a fairly poor 3 x 500 and 5 x 200.
DH got chatting to the lady in the petrol station and asked if he could put one more lot in without driving round again. She said of course he could, everyone else was. And bingo - 5000

Thank you all for your kind wishes. There isn't really much I can do until November 9th, so will do my best to put it out of my mind. I'm seeing some very dear friends tomorrow, so something to look forward to at least

i brought 2 x primarni this morning.over 2 lots of gc and 2 lots of shopping only got 2 x 200 2 x 500.
went to tesco metro thats closing down next week,tuna full price.:(
