After yesterday's poem "The Bench" guess where I've been tight
The Wench
How many ales have I poured and served?
Listened to stories, from real to absurd,
Flirted with men, with a smile and a wink,
My tips getting bigger, the faster they drink.
The night wears on, and laughter is heard,
Everyone talking, with words that are slurred,
Jokes become naughty, and gossip is spread,
That leads to some faces, glowing bright red.
Time to go home, after clearing the mess,
Can't wait any longer, to pop out this dress,
A shoulder to cry on, a kind listening ear,
