I got a nice email from Groupon sent to a dormant account. The last time I used it was back in May and that was to buy the £10 Mr T e voucher for £5 - I used this a couple of weeks ago to buy Harringtons cat food from Mr t (for shopimmums cashback) so I don't know if this was what triggered this Costalot offer.
But its worth checking your Groupon emails for similar as I've had about 6 now in various disguises to various accounts. I have a £1 deal that I buy now for all of my offers.
"Hey there!
As you are a valued Groupon customer we would like to reward you with a complimentary £5 Costalot e-gift card with your next purchase!
All you need to do is purchase any Groupon deal before Saturday, October 27th, and enter the secret code at checkout before completing your purchase.
We will e-mail you a £5 Costalot e-gift card next week. Happy shopping!"
There is actually something I do want and need on Groupon and I wish I'd realised this when I had yesterdays TCB £5 super special bonus offer but hopefully another will come along shortly.
Its also reminded me I have a £5 sports direct e voucher to spend (from another Groupon spend something get an e voucher deal) and no idea what to buy with it ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I really struggled last time to buy anything in store it all seemed so much more expensive than the other supermarkets.
The ladies are lovely at my local petrol station they encourage you and get excited for you. :A
I usually do couple £10 fill ups then go in store and then do 2 or 3 more on way out. If the pumps are busy I drive back round for another go.0 -
hugs to gocat!
school girl error in Mr Ts today, got three lots of cwisps and maggers but they had loads of RTC toothpaste and mouthwash, coffee beans and decaf tea (dont ask) I also had to get allthefondant as it eldest DDs party tomorrow and ive not done her cake yet. should have totted up what i had and bought some other stuff ill need to make it £40 (or £60) to use my £8 off voucher but i didnt and it was £32 with the money off the other stuff, im still a bit cross with myself. Every cake ends up being a way bigger thing than it should but im too tight to buy one. I suggested she have a plain cake but was told "that would be weird" so ive just carved out half of it and its back in the fridge. Made ganache but thought id use a tub of the DR O for the crumbcoat, that was a mistake, its rubbish and theres not a lot in there! totally ok for 25p though. trying to summon up the energy to go make fondant people. best be some mummy points on offer!!!
xxx

No, you only need to spend £1 to trigger the offer
Put in the search box
Selly Manor
and buy a childs ticket for £1
Now I've got three I will offer them to my local friend - might be good for half term
Let me know how you get on - usually the e vouchers come along very quickly.
Oddly TCB has also tracked for me and sent me an email - I must have been still logged in since last night but its still peculiar as I've been to check Q since then ..
It wont track anyway as I used a code but its still peculiar.
It just reminds you to clear your cookies and do a C clean and start afresh before doing a significant cashback purchase“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Well, just to report, this is day 2 of both Grumpy Knickers and I both being retired. As yet we have neither come to blows (only joking!) or had a slanging match!!
Things will get tense as[STRIKE] I[/STRIKE] we sort out finances but all is well as we speak!
Had another NSD, gammon and coke just out of the slow cooker to roast off, a couple of spuds and parsnips will be roasted too and then carrot and swede mash and spinach, previously RTC'd from the freezer , which is still F'ing full!0
