    Hi curl girl :A

I have to bake mine for about 1 hour and 15 mins in a 2lb loaf tin at 160 fan oven - it does look a bit "well done" on the top, but tastes fine.
The problem that irritates me, is that despite making sure the mix is spread flat in the tin, it always has a rounded rise, and the surface breaks at the top :(

This is one I made earlier this morning - with added chia seeds :)

    Good evening Elite.
Hoping everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.

To stop my Christmas cake rising too far I actually go further than flattening the top, I make it concave. Still don't get it flat, but don't lose as much when I cut off the top. My OH does not think it is an advantage, he rather likes it when I cut off the top :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Sticky BBQ , looks tasty BUT coupon does not work with it, so AVOID.
Magnesium coupons worked together, also did Sada shop for tuna fillers. Bought own brand fizzy pop to make sure I paid at least something lol. Sada pop reduced to 44p, nationally I think.

Just running in to say the Sticky BBQ flavour Baked Crisps don't work with the coupon.

It was a new flavour in my local today filling the gap where the variety ones were on Friday.

Thanks to the OP who mentioned the Baked Fusions worked. :T

Will have to catch up later.

I was coming on to say the same. Chicken ones work ok.....think this has already been reported though

It looks good enough to eat:D:D

Unsure if this helps with your cracks.....oooh missus:eek:

Keep the oven temp the same but place on a lower shelf in the oven and/ or try reducing the raising agent or folding instead of beating the mix.
It's just cooking a little quickly and bursting out the top:D
