For the SS cinema vouchers, you have to enter the codes by 31/10 and use the voucher by 18/11, but do you have to go to the cinema by 18/11 or can you book ahead beyond that and "pay" with the voucher in advance?

    Many Thanks

    Anon

I always book for a showing beyond the expiry date. They usually have advanced booking available for a couple of December blockbusters, hopefully this year is the same again

I only got a couple too Arthien.

Sorry to hear that folk are having problems with the SSM vouchers. There are some great deals with them. I've had massive problems printing them in the past but all is well now. I haven't any answers but wonder if it might be worth opening another account. I have opened one for Oswald without any problems

I don’t think that you can print from iPad/mobile device. On my laptop I had to switch to Internet Explorer to get them to print.

MSE reported it - up to £200 in one category:

    https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2018/10/sainsbury-s-to-run-nectar--double-up--promo-next-month/

We will have to wait and see if you can get that more than once - in the past it relied on the CS stopping you (so going back in the same store later worked, or just going to another store ;), hopefully they haven't changed the till. Even if they did, quickly heading to another store where you have shopped previously should still work based on the challenges they have with the system (not updating instantly).

I think it unlikely you would be able to use more than one £200 voucher in a transaction though (even if you could get more than one), unless they have removed restrictions to allow one voucher to cover multiple items over various categories too. It may be just as easy to return ill fitting electricals from what people reported in the past, then use that towards the more expensive item (remember - if an item cost the same price as a voucher, some staff refunded onto S refund cards, while spending just over the value of the voucher resulted in refunds onto credit cards/cash depending on how the rest was paid).

Thanks Anon. I was trying to check the story as it seems rather wonderful to me that we can spend up to £200 on an item.
I had a trout yesterday when I tried 3 in one transaction, she moaned then put then through one by one, by themselves, LOL

This morning I went round twice. The first time I had four packs of the baked fusion crisps and a lot of shopping. A supervisor was training a young lad and she put four coupons though without any problem. The next time I had a few items and three packs of crisps. Young lass said 'one per transaction' so had to void two packs and then solemnly put them through one at a time. Weird!

It was odd doing a shop this morning in T as I've not been there for ages. It was also a shock to have to pay real money for stuff. I'd got out of the habit! :rotfl: :rotfl: I am so missing the APG...

Scamps, sorry. No idea why you can't see pictures. Try rebooting the PC?
