I'm reverting back to "healthy eating" again, and have discovered how yummy chia seeds can be.
I prepared my first "chia pudding" on Friday night for Saturday breakfast.: 3 tablespoons of chia seeds, some freshly milled flaxseeds, 300ml almond milk, Bournville cocoa powder, splash of vanilla essence and some honey to sweeten.
A good stir and put covered in fridge for next morning.
I wasn't holding out much expectation, but it was delicious - and did 2 breakfasts.
Wondering if anyone has any interesting recipes or other ways to use chia seeds?Fighting Recurring Cancer0 -
Arthien....just thinking. There's a TMF on the Dr Oetker buttercream icing. There's a coupon in the T magazine too.
Annoyingly I can't find a link to it:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

Yes indeed but there's positives too.....for me anyway:)
I've got more time to do things that are more worthwhile. I'm also being more imaginative in the way I cook to use up stuff from the backs of cupboards and the bottom of the freezer
Also we've been lucky with the free crisps, cheap magnums, poppadome, frylite and SSM coupons this past week.:T:T:TTo do is to be. Rousseau

I made the banana loaf the other night, what a disaster.
It looked lovely out of the oven but turned into a lump of play dough and was thrown away.
Not sure what I did wrong?
I did have roast potatoes in the oven at the same time though so wondered if the steam ruined it?
It took me ages, my tin was lined to perfection as well.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -

It was in for over an hour.
It did sink and looked like plastercine?
Such a shame as it smelled lovely.
