Even lower prices in A again:rotfl:. In other words not, as, if you were to go and do fully today the shop that I have just done, it would cost you more than it would have done at A yesterday, save in the most exceptional circumstances of having incorrect shelf labelling which I do not foresee.

I must be so used to shopping on the last day of an mbuy that I have now gone and done that unwittingly, without knowing that it was the final day until I got to the store:rotfl:. I did still wonder whether it might be, before I went out, and I knew that it was as soon as I saw my store SELs with just the straight prices. I saw an instore clock was about two minutes to midnight and, with my vouchers of the exact cost of the mbuy, I knew I had to get my shop in very quickly. I so wish that I could have got an overcharge; however my store's SELs, as seems usual across A, had been altered already.

It was fine, they scanned through at the mbuy price. However, between seeing that price on-screen and putting my vouchers through, the price went up as it ticked over midnight. I knew there was an issue when my first voucher knocked down the amount but left the bill several pence higher than my last voucher, the exact difference between all the full prices added up and the mbuy price. I managed to attract the attention of a member of staff (I do think this is more difficult for me to manage to do with me having autism: it does seem that people don't notice I am there whereas they turn around immediately for anyone else - obviously body language is being transmitted that people often detect without even being aware of it - whereas I stand there - there wasn't a button I could press to 'call for help' on this occasion without risking ruining the transaction - and they usually fail to notice me (can be a good thing:rotfl:), or act as if they haven't noticed me, but on this occasion I just stood there and turned around, looked in their direction, a bit out of line with the rest of the few people that were there, and they noticed me). Fortunately, with my knowing their systems better than they do, I managed (very coherently, which is unusual for me in oral communication, but then again it is a specialist interest so I am able to speak coherently there) to explain what the problem was. The member of staff went towards solving it by getting some money out to pay the rest of what the machine now had as the bill.

I had picked a card-only machine, which would have been fine if the machine hadn't ended with several pence left to pay, but this meant they couldn't just drop Mr A's money into its own machine to pay for the price increase that it's just made when getting what was the mbuy number compared to the now-gone mbuy. It was therefore a case of save tranaction and off to the CS desk (which is still staffed and provides a service, of sorts, at this late hour in my store) to sort things out. All was fine in the end and I managed to avoid showing my receipt where I'd returned an item earlier:rotfl:.

I didn't notice the products were on mbuy until what is now yesterday late evening, but obviously the mbuy price seemed alright enough for me to pay and it was possibly of a case of obviously they didn't want to keep it on for too long as it was too good for them:rotfl:.

I've had this situation once before, when there was then a glitch, actually on a high value item that worked out nearly free, that was so good that I ran out of stock in one store and went onto another store to try to find further stock. By then it was twenty to midnight as I had left it late in the day. I managed to get two further transactions done - including fillers - before 12 but what was to have been my last shop, it was now one minute past midnight and the items scanned straight off as full price. Unfortunately on that occasion, I couldn't now say that I had got to the SS before 12 because I had not. It was a case that I had missed getting the mbuy and what was to have been my last shop therefore never happened; I simply ended up doing one fewer shop than I would have liked.

Just now the products scanned at the mbuy price whilst I was in the process of buying them and then the price for the number I was attempting to buy then went up whilst I was trying to pay for them, because my transaction started yesterday but ended today. Glad I managed to get the mbuy for them and of course I bought what were, when I started, just mbuy items and nothing else anymore. Cheeky Mr A has however put the price up for that number today whilst having told us to welcome even lower prices. I feel a weekend coming on:rotfl::(. (:( as I think prices 'often' go up in time for weekends.)

Btw, there is no problem it seems, at least not in my store, with the keying in and TC# as my APG values were knocked off the bill fine. I got my digits entirely correct this time.

Just noticing now, in the box on the right, what was (at this time of night) MSE's twitter. Choc. Oranges in T for what MSE's twitter claims is "75p (normally £2)". I'd say they were normally £1, not £2, as that is what I normally see for them - for example have been seeing for them in A & M in the last couple of weeks. They are regularly on £1 (and then to £1.98/£2 full price and back to £1) so it's quite "normal" for them to be on £1. The allegedly "normally" £2 comes about simply because of T's higher price than a couple of its competitors for the time immediately before T became better priced than either of them.

I mentioned these on this forum just before they went to 75p in T. Avoid:rotfl:! Just a 25p 'saving' to me, if that, as I would never buy them at £2. In fact, no saving at all:p as they have downsized since I would have last bought them when they were on glitch (of overlapping offers) in T quite some time ago, when they worked out much cheaper, and are therefore much more expensive now compared to that. (And even worse elsewhere:eek:!:rotfl::rotfl:) We are, it seems, as usual, so much more savvy than any of the "offers" that get mentioned in the twitter or weekly email, that are just such costly, money-wasting(:rotfl:) things.

In fact, yes indeed - chocolate is a clear no-no, prohibited item that should not be bought at all (unless it's with a coupon for a free product) for people really to save money - save even more - save 75p by not buying it at all:rotfl:, as it's just a tempting item that is not a necessary item and is not essential to life and is possible to carry on life and live without, so you don't need to buy it at all.

Can I find 'em? Of course I can. Stores are supposed to have enough in to cover likely demand. So, one person has bought multiple purchases because they were influenced by advertising in a newspaper:wall:.

It works - and I bet this is also an item intended to get people into the store, many of whom will then buy other more costly things and pay well more to cover that 75p offer. So if, despite what I have said, you still decide you want to buy it:eek::wall:, make sure you only buy it and nothing else that you were not going to already buy before you entered the store - not as easy as it sounds I can assure you!

EDIT: The Vegan Magnums are £2 I am told and that's based on them going up to a really high £3.89 sometime before! They'd need to be £1 clearance price before I buy them, it seems, therefore doesn't look much chance of that happening.

Poor Savvy - I've obviously got my body clock still linked to the dates when mbuys are ending:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

(I have no idea what, if anything, is ending today and I am not bothered. I will just end up going to my store at 11.45pm and finding I happen to pick up whatever item is.)

It has actually - getting the mbuy, just about, has managed to cost me less than getting another item later that I would otherwise have needed to buy. So I now don't need to buy that at all and can use the 'money' (it's just movement of APG values) that I was going to use for that to buy something extra.

Turns out, with that shop just now, I have done very well:money:. What chance that I just saw a different pack of the same type of product would be cheaper, right in the final hour of a day, and then just managed to get it for that price:rotfl:.

Bought a pack of Whiskas in A £3 with a free casserole flavour sachet inside.

    There's also a £1 off coupon inside

Buy a few and you'll be getting cheap cat food.

    Unfortunately Oz doesn't like it.

He just licked off the jelly:o

The penny has just dropped. I haven't been getting the last couple of bonuses and now I know why:o

Haven't a clue what we can do about it though

I have sent an email to Wilco explaining that I need them to scan it as having been picked up because of the cashback site. They also said I presumed they knew I picked it up because they haven’t refunded my money! I also raised a Quidco support ticket telling them that I had done the right thing and asking them to pay the bonuses. It would be great if you get both those things to so that they know it isn’t just me! I don’t know if it will help but at least we have done something.

Edit: Apologies to the others who have replied. I have been catching up on the phone and it’s not so easy to multi quote. Could we all do these things please in the hope that it might achieve something? But I agree that we should probably stop using Wilco!
