one of the first apg's I did was soft and gentle deodorant that worked out at 20p large bottles of Heinz tomato ketchup that I think also worked out at 20p
Wasn't that orange juice glitch around about the same time too?

Don Simone? Wasn't that the orange glitch?
Think that was one of the first glitches I took part in.'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -

I've been thinking about the best glitch today and really can't come up with anything different to others. The big APG glitch was something else though wasn't it. I don't know how I found time to work:eek: I got loads of the huge Pantene shampoos and conditioners and seemed to spend day after day rinsing and repeating. It was over the summer time wasn't it? I had a variety of jackets in the car and used to go in with dark glasses:rotfl:
I seem to think that we had an After Eight Easter glitch which was really good too.
Nobody has mentioned my Jakemans Lozenge glitch yet:o
Nor my Extra Special pork chops glitch, still was one of the first so a long time ago. For what it's worth TM, I still have some Jakemans in my cupboard.0 -
My Sainsbobs shop. Buttons did work again. The glitch shops have definitely been best, making this one at least slightly more worthwhile voucher back than my other shop with 60p vs M:(.
10 items (7 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda sainsbury's
1x ASDA Smart Price Cola (2lt) £0.17 N/A:j (if they did have it, it would be really dear) No thanks to T going unavailable on t.com:mad:. Their fault - as always!(:rotfl::mad::()
1x ASDA Honey Nut Corn Flakes (750g) £1.45 £1.40
1x ASDA Smart Price Corn Flakes (500g) £0.45 £0.45 (again, T nowadays N/A:mad: - only compares against S - price increases all round were found recently, but can't do much as needed some 'ordinary' corn flakes - rarely get the chance to compare against S as shops against S usually so hard - many SP equivalents dear at S - will probably buy from S next time if my Nectar points ever reach £2.50:()
1x ASDA Apple & Blueberry Porridge Pot (57g) £0.39 N/A
1x ASDA Smart Price Mandarin Pieces in Light Syrup (312g) £0.35 £0.35
4x Cadbury Curly Wurly Bar (26g) £1.40 £1.00
1x ASDA Semi Skimmed Milk (6pt) £1.48 £1.50
0.11x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Carrot (order by number of carrots or select kg) (per kg) £0.07 £0.07
1x ASDA Smart Price Sliced Carrots in Water (300g) £0.20 £0.20
Comparison total (compared products only) £5.40 £4.97
+£0.43 cheaper
I even managed to find at least eight items against often expensive Sains.!
Vs M
0.11x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Carrot (order by number of carrots or select kg) (per kg) £0.07 £0.06:(
Paid too much for my carrot. Although the glitch worked, this was failed shopping - and I don't mean the carrot - and probably cost me about as much as the glitch gave:(. On another shop during this visit, I bought three items. I have discovered that A has two SP Breads again, even though they are not online. I bought the 36p Wholemeal, that I needed, as part of this other shop and paid for it with a voucher. Later, on doing the Sains. shop, I found loads of Wholemeal Bread in the store on 10p whoopsie:(. Obviously someone has over-ordered there - so I lost 26p. I've lost another 17p or so on the comp. shop - the porridge pot should have been the Eat Real Crunchy Sesame Seed Bar - 39p vs 25p S but, although I can see it logged in on msm (as 'Cofresh') and it is on 'my' a.com, I do not expect my store to have exotic items like these. I have never seen it in my store, although I did try to find it, in at least six separate aisles where it might be no less - someone will tell me which aisle it is in, that I didn't check:( - and also called a member of staff over who, on being told it was a single bar, claimed the store does not have it - that seems to be right until proven to be wrong if I come across it in my store sometime. I therefore replaced it with a porridge pot (bought one earlier vs S as a filler) and couldn't remember whether Sains. has Cinnamon porridge - if they do, I could have lost even more - I knew I had seen Golden Syrup so avoided that one - I eventually decided, even though I'd have preferred it, to put the Cinnamon back just in case Sains. has it (bet they don't have it now:rotfl::() and stuck with the tried and tested Apple & Blueberry that I bought earlier. So now have two of the same one.
Not to worry - lost money on APG due to my store not having the Eat Real bar, or having it in a place I could not find - however I suppose porridge is worth more than a sesame bar, so didn't really lose that at all but paid for the porridge.
Also I suppose lost as Mandarin pieces are nowadays much more expensive than the 18p they used to be some years ago!
Loose carrot not because I thought shopping with 8 items would be risky (some things have never changed:wall::rotfl:) but bought because I needed to spend another 7p to spend my APG vouchers. I suppose I should have found something 39p+7p to compare against S instead. The carrots bit does, but for a penny if that. 93p back - I suppose all helps. Maybe a pack of frozen veg. but pay 2p. Or SP Brocoli and a 3p carrot:rotfl:. However, Brocolli now, without the APG, not being bought in A - I used to compare 90p vs 90p M = 81p net but, from now on, I think Aldi at 85p will be cheaper. Like, pennies again:( - but only matters if I am already shopping at Aldi.0 -

Unexpected - has only come about because of (what now turns out to be) my right decision to shop for some Wheat Bisks for the sake of 60p.
It probably will be running tomorrow - I think we are only erring on the side of caution in case it is not. They have said "until 3rd October" and, when offers are set to run "until" a certain date, they include that date as the final date don't they? They have confused the matter by saying the system is closing "from" 3rd October, so unfortunately there is that area of doubt that only I have - and now everyone else seems to be in doubt due to my doubt. It's 'probably' clear it will run on 3rd October (as it's "until" that date); it's just that there is this doubt though (so it's not clear:rotfl:) and, to be on the safe side, as we must, I take it as ending today. It's just one day less to spend however much on the vouchers, which doesn't really make much difference. Assuming it is running tomorrow - we still have those Wednesday glitches (hoping it is a big changeover with mbuys ending) and I will be able to take part fully this time as I am not in M:D! (I don't have any clue for what M prices for Monday would have been though, as I am not covering this situation.)0 -
