I had one with Sains. once - thanked them for including the cooking instructions of a product online that saved me from having to check instore - hoped they might send me some Nectar points for the compliment but just a reply back - didn't get any points:(. Oh well, worth a try.

Actually you can of course get free products/vouchers etc. from manufacturers sometimes by writing to thank them for how much you like their products and there are people that seem to make a living doing just such a thing.

I think I may have got a note about some "Nectar-versary" at some stage, but I just ignored it - it is a haze. Perhaps it is everyone's Nectar-versary that people are now having at the same time. Seems strange, as I think mine was pretty recent (may have been the other day, don't remember how old the email was, really of no consequence to me at the time - as you suggest, absolutely worthless to us it seems) - maybe everyone is now having such a "Nectar-versary" and it's simply a way to keep their name in prominence as the strange invented name "Nectar-versary" itself does - and, if so, we are achieving their aim:( by merely mentioning it and circulating it on this forum. I shall shut up now, and never mention it again:D. No-one should reply to me re-quoting and mentioning it yet again as that's just helping their own promotion and indirectly contributing to their presence in people's minds, that might cause people, even sub-consciously at some stage, to buy something related to them, as part of a bit like a chain letter this forum seems to have become at this point.

Someone, change the subject, please!! At least stop my droning on:rotfl:.

Just popping in to say good morning and thank you to brave heart as we went to Blackpool at the weekend and used the free tickets and had a fantastic day out and due to a ride at the end of the dungeons that caught the most funniest picture we will have some great memories of that day ... so thank you x

I think the part that say "It's Friday" is maybe a hint. An old notification, I seem to get them occasionally too. You could try squeezing your eyes together and pretend Greggs is Costalot when you get your free hot drink LOL.
