My favorite glitch from A's has to be the 32p one.Amazing !! Pray tell how did you manage this one??
Mine too. The little Ambrosia rice pots were on 3 for 2 - but, rather than category-limited, they worked with anything in store on a 3 for 2 offer - and made everything cost 32p.:D:D.“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -

I've been thinking about the best glitch today and really can't come up with anything different to others. The big APG glitch was something else though wasn't it. I don't know how I found time to work:eek: I got loads of the huge Pantene shampoos and conditioners and seemed to spend day after day rinsing and repeating. It was over the summer time wasn't it? I had a variety of jackets in the car and used to go in with dark glasses:rotfl:
I seem to think that we had an After Eight Easter glitch which was really good too.
Nobody has mentioned my Jakemans Lozenge glitch yet:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

Morning all
I'm a long term lurker, occasional poster but would also like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone for saving me a ridiculous amount over the past few years. I certainly will miss having random stashes of choc/soup/udi's/tins etc in the most random of places.
Thank you all again
I would like to join in with Froctober if thats ok, i did an inventory of my freezers and cupboards yesterday, so am looking forward to seeing them emptier by the end
Look forward to your posts Allen Key:p
I've had a successful day. I called in to collect my Molton Brown soaps from the Fragrance Shop. As there was a technical issue processing it and delayed they sent me some freebie perfume samples. I've stuck them in my handbag for day to day use. I'm still eating up the soup I made at the weekend and as I'd cashed in my Amex points , a £200 gift card arrived today too:)
A good day all in all:)To do is to be. Rousseau

I'm off to a good start with the wombles (people near me seem to have used this afternoon as if it were a Saturday:rotfl::T). Got £1.88 and a £1.79 so far (obviously with a 'not enough items' and a couple of 10% cheapers in between). I am not keeping track of anything further as I am no longer recording them in the way I usually did - no need to keep a record of what gave what so I can go to the right receipt for which voucher to print in future as I am printing all vouchers straight off this time.
I've had a few unusual shops in the past couple of weeks:rotfl:. Reminded me earlier of when T's DTD ended and the strange shops I was doing in the last few days in order to stock up on specific items. Like 10 toilet cleaners in a shop - I wish:rotfl::rotfl:. (I don't really - stupid low value item:(:rotfl:).
There won't be a total from today, as I am not recording it. I will see the grand total, quite a lot later tonight/next few days, for the vouchers I will have to spend for much of the rest of this month.0 -
Long time lurker here with a last minute contribution to make before APG ends.
Has anyone bought the Mcvities digestive thins that have 50% back on SM? They are £1.69 in A and £1 in S, so think they would work out about 5p a pack, except the hobnob variety which are £1 in both.
Also the Benecol greek style is try for £1 on SM and is £2.75 in A and £1.50 in T, so better than free if I'm right.
Hopefully someone can confirm if this would be right.
Thanks to all for the great deals I've benefitted from by reading this thread.

one of the first apg's I did was soft and gentle deodorant that worked out at 20p large bottles of Heinz tomato ketchup that I think also worked out at 20p0

The best APG glitch wasn't actually Curly Wurlys as that doesn't give a huge amount back. I think it was the Dishwasher Cleaner tablets, at about £15 for the two, or something like that, that gave £15 back. In fact the best glitches were probably the 3 for 2s that I missed a few months before I came here. I remember the Jakemans glitch (maybe there have been a few Jakemans glitches?) - again relatively low value but nonetheless helped - I've had to settle for straight comp. vs M on the Throat & Chest Lozenges in the last week as M best comp. - still works out (worked out, I am already using past tense:() at more expensive than 50p each so worse than the 2 for £1 mbuys that we now haven't seen for a while.0 -
