We have just had toad in the hole. It was made with the Richmond Sausages on cs - think they worked out 20p per pack. Eggs were woopsied 10p. Cauli 10p, broccoli 10p, new pots 5p and green beans 5p. I had to pay full price for the carrots. It was very nice.

    but I now don't work..well paid work

ive come to a standstill now,
I was going to try to get to town and spend my £5 debs vouchers, last day today I think ?
but I haven't the energy, so dh has gone, he was itching to go out as he had tmaltsmiths reuploaded on cos- don't know what the offer is , but a sniff of alcohol and hes gone like a shot, I didn't tell him I won 2 x 4 packs of carling from each tap game yesterday:rotfl::rotfl:

I am not scaremongering, but it would be worth spending Debs vouchers if you have them. The recent signs in the financial pages have not been promising for their long term future. As we saw with HofF, they do not honour orders or gift cards when they go into administration, even if they are rescued.

I agree, our Debs is in our old Lewis's building and has not changed much since they took over in 1998.
What I can't understand is the large glossy magazine that was in last week's Sunday Times, what a waste of money.

    Afternoon peeps.
I now have 4 cheese, 2 red wine, 2 boxes of tea and 2 packs of chocolate coated chunky cookies from Lidl.
So I blame westie as I don't normally bother with biscuits...... they are rather nice though!

Well they have been doing click and collect with a free £5 voucher a few times recently, only used to be once in a blue moon . I find it a dear shop .

I think Irn Bru Xtra may have sneaked up in price to £1 in M instore, even though it is still showing the offer of 75p until 16/9 online. I was on the border of going to £1 myself but I kept it on 75p thinking my store may have had an incorrect SEL. Trouble is the item for me was absent from other stores probably due to selling out at 75p and then SELs taken away, leaving it more likely to get a price from fewer stores. Normally the stores even out, hopefully to the correct price, but if it's left only at a few and the few happen to have incorrect SELs, that's what they will get. I had left the item on the list even though the SEL in my store had clearly been changed - to show yellow label of £1 price, probably to throw it into people's faces as if it's an offer price:rotfl:. Should have known - it probably has indeed gone up in price instore due to 75p offer ending instore before 16/9 and online not updated yet. I will cross it out on the list.
