Yes. My granola ones have been validated (his n her accounts) but not the nut butter ones. Perhaps I should have uploaded them separately. Will do when I get home. At hospital for check up appt for OH. Might as well set up camp here lol

Long day at Santa Pod, and rather stop start because people kept blowing their engines etc, but it was good. What we didn't expect was to get home only to look in the mirror and find we had caught the sun!

Morning elite, for those that have an abundance of home grown cucumbers or get a lot of whoopsied ones:

Sweet & Sour Cucumber

675g cucumber (I do about 3kg at a time, adjust recipe accordingly)
175g brown sugar
450ml malt vinegar
1 tbsp whole pickling spice

Slice cucumbers with mandolin or food processor, mix with some salt and leave overnight to get rid of excess fluid. Rinse and drain well.

Pour vinegar in pan along with pickling spice. Boil for few minutes, leave to cool.
Strain vinegar into large pan, add sugar and heat gently until sugar dissolves.
Add cucumber and simmer for 10 mins or until transparent.
Put drained cucumber in sterilised warm jars.
Boil the liquid till it reduces slightly and then add to jars, covering the cucumbers. Seal

I also add sliced onions to mine having softened them in microwave slightly.
Leave 3 months before eating. Enjoy

morning all, been ridiculously busy and out of sorts with life money and kids all taking over, off to the vets with another of my bunnies today I lost 2 last week as well due to myxi - even though they have been vaccinated. There seems to be a really nasty aggressive strain around here at the mo. My bunny going today is pregnant so I'm more upset than normal! Money and the lack of it has been grating me for a while but on the upside I have around 3 weeks work out of town on a farm doing spuds. Kids all back to school house very quiet. Husbands surprise 40th went well he never twigged until he got there and only then twigged because his mother wouldn't move her car...……...enough said on that part (i'm chewing wasps) and breathe...………..

Managed to find the Fuel granola in A today. Paid with a womble apg. The cashier asked me if I knew they were ending so I said I'd seen it on the website. She told me she only knew because other customers had mentioned it, they hadn't been notified officially yet.
