Seren you d so well at the co-op, i very rarely go as off the track, so to speak

Just been lucky I guess, but it seems the more you go the better you do. I'm never in there for more than 10 mins max.

SA once told me to 'swipe that card every time because you just never know.' :)

And you get 5% of your spend put on it, even on items under £1, if they are Co op branded. They were doing a big push on cards today, going round asking people as they shopped.

What I have noticed over 5 years in about 9 different stores with loads of different staff is that the SAs all want the customer to do well.

Anyway eventually I did find a new evening bag suitable as a gift so its been tastefully wrapped. So for this person (my d-i-l that I know totally zilch about) I have a no 7 make up box in a mirrored case, a Santuary spa gold ball with lip butters inside and this evening bag so it looks like a very thoughtful indulgent selection of small treats - plus a good selection seeing as I've not had to actually go out and buy anything, all from my various stashes.

I've been getting a Christmas goody bag together for Errant son and his wife - Errant son is going to be away for a month over Christmas, so I've had to give a lot of thought - small, not bulky, light packable things.
Mostly Errant son has had his Christmas gifts already - I paid for his glasses, new smart shirt and I am going to put money in his account to cover the cost of his new Otter case for his ipad and his screen repair.
He also has in this bag a cute tin with mint humbugs in and an Amazon snowflake gift card box - need to just think of more sweets or chocolate now that might survive a nearly 20 hour flight in his holdall.

Where in Thailand does she live?

What about sending something from the local area. It is also tradition to send small gifts (usually food) to members of her family particularly her parents. Whilst appears a bit weird... but my mantra with girlfriends is 'just remember that one day she maybe the mother on my grandchildren'...... this allows me to be far more patient than I normally would be!

I did 4 shops today, and got a £3 M&S and a £20 meal - but the nearest one to us is about 40 miles away. When I have been at work, the last thing I want to do is drive miles for a meal.... Cannot believe I am moaning! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
