These five days of blackness at Mr M has royally peed me off. Mango and pineapple would have been very chez michaels but by the time I could get to the store after work they were all sold out. Sending out emails for one day promotions that those who work can not take advantage of is pretty bad form in my book.
I found the pineapples yesterday evening and the melons. Ate the melon today but it wasn't really ripe enough. They also had the boxes of tangerines or whatever they are.0 -
This thing about things decaying in storage - this afternoon I was trying to find suitable gifts hidden in various caches and wardrobes.
I found an evening bag still with its shop labels on - very pleased to find it as it suited my purpose exactly.
Fortunatley I examined it properly before wrapping because the glue on one side had just become unstuck so it was no good, not even for putting in the charity bag -
I think I am most annoyed about this, more than its non use as a gift as its probably been in this hidden corner if the wardrobe for years when it would have served a better purpose being donated.
mhoc, can't you re-glue it?0 -
I know this is mad but these last few weeks have been unrelenting and today I had a free afternoon and am now totally exhausted. So I am going to bed . Night all. May the glitches continue...0

Hello Elite
We had a wonderful day today. The dog show was really well attended and a great success. Hall was full with a great mix of gorgeous dogs. I picked my favourite - a scruffy black and white terrier, of course
- and they did win their class, but not Best in Show
The tombola and raffle went well, and also the jumble sale/table top sale. The food went down very well even though it ended up with two reluctant vegans doing the bacon sarnies and hot dogs  I started helping on table top sale but was called in quite soon to help out on dog registrations for the 13 classes we were running as the queue got longer and longer as more people and woofers arrived, some from Essex and Norfolk Coast
All in all, a good day was had by all. People said they had enjoyed it and will come again when we run another one. And plenty of money raised which will more than cover our most recent vet fees on a very sickly dog

I wouldn't be surprised if the sauces get cancelled, or if it's not actually a pack of 6 as the weight descriptions are a bit off, but hopefully there'll be an apology voucher in it if nothing else
