This morning we went to Lakeland - ours is at Bridgemere garden center - google it - very Christmassy and it has numerous outlets on the one site. I think the Christmas event is on November 30th early evening - free glass of fizz, prize draw and I think there was some food sampling the last time we went, local butchers nice sausage rolls.

Anyway I had a look in Lakeland at the blanket fleeces for £20 - the cream one is slightly beigh rather than cream colour but quite good quality , heavy weight, good size, also in brown and grey.
So I the cream one for the end of the bed - the one there now is about 30 years old, stained and disgusting but Oh is emotionally attached to it, no idea why. I really want to put it in cloth recycling.
For Christmas the new one will be on the bed - visitors traipsing too and from the shower room dont need to see the disgusting old one.

I did message both Eldest child and Eldest son with photos but neither needed a fleece for sofa or the end of the bed. Inevitably they will both be coverting our new cream one at Christmas - that will be their loss :)

:D stained and disgusting the mind boggles. Babies have these blankets that they’re attached to and some are absolutely rammy ;)

That's just it, no secure parking.

If I were you I would take something like a tin of hairspray in the car, if anyone tries something on the way to the ferry you could just spray it in their eyes.

I just would felt so uneasy going there for a day trip, maybe i've overdosed on the news before.

And this next bit is Marmie's fault, I saw his signature and decided to sit down and watch a Christmas film
We've returned via Calais many times .. never had a problem. Car I have now locks doors automatically.. There again I am usually in a rush for the ferry so take no prisoners (or asylum seekers or refugees or any b'gger) the'd struggle to fit in after the hypermarket shopping!!

    We will be fine!!

PS Have loyalty card for the hypermarket so at least 15 euros off and not been to France since last year! That's how Elite travel!!
